If you’re planning on moving here, talk to any of the residents before making a decision. The people who live here are generally pretty nice and curteous and I’ve never had a problem with anyone. The management will offer a secure and friendly community with onsite parking, a pool, a gym, and a responsive maintenance team. In reality they provide none of this. Lazily and ineffectively managed and maintained. Instead of fixing the problems they like to shift the responsibility onto the residents. They charge $50 for parking, $50 for pets, and $50 for storage. That’s an extra $1800 a year if you get all three. That doesn’t include the $100 fee for someone to unlock the door if you lose your key. Still, we’ve had packages stolen, repair requests ignored, and no pool since we moved here. Look at how green the water is in the satellite image! The only priority this year has been removing wallpaper in the common hallways. There are two doors that haven't locked in months, and another with broken and taped-up glass. It would be nice if they moved the “office” to the front lobby so we don’t need to worry about more packages getting stolen during the day. The office people like to hide in the back building and send out nasty and threatening text messages all day. There really should be someone there to keep an eye on who’s coming into the building since they don’t want to invest in a camera system. They bought the intercom system that doesn’t work, so that’s something I guess. I’d rather have that money go to open the pool during the summer. Or the gym that they’ve been promising for the past two years. Or to someone to actually respond to my repair requests instead of signing-off that they did the job on the SMG portal without actually doing anything. Free parking is at a premium, but what did they do during the last snowstorm? Close off half the parking lot to store the snow instead of plowing it into the. They charge $50 a month for paid spots which amounts to just under $10,000 in revenue from that alone between all the residents who pay, you’d think they’d have a better snow removal method. People collectively need to stop paying for parking so they get rid of this rediculous practice. If you didn’t shovel yourself out and move your car, they still plowed the snow in front of cars so they couldn’t get out. Several residents were out clearing the parking lot by themselves including some older folks when maintenance didn't even show up for the last snow storm despite having several plow trucks available. Half the parking spots are still covered in snow weeks later. When the lot isn’t filled with snow, they still have little space for parking, but they have plenty of space to store two dumpsters, dozens of wooden pallets, a bobcat excavator, and a pile of gravel in the back lot. The workers like to take up all the free spots during the day which should be for the residents. Still, we get weekly text messages threatening to tow people parked in the wrong spots. Other than these issues, the area is very noisy between the fire station, horns, and loud cars racing around the industrial park at night and there’s nothing to within easy walking distance. The only positive is that it’s a 2 minute drive to the highway.
