"We went to All American Assisted Living at Wareham. It's a beautiful, beautiful location, very nice staff, but I didn't like how the cost structure was calculated. It was beautiful, overlooked a Cranberry bog, the director that I dealt with was lovely, and the follow up calls have been lovely. It was just not a good fit for my mom based on dollars and cents. They had a library."

"My Grandmother spent some time in this facility. The staff was very friendly and helpful with all of my grandmothers needs. They helped her with her hygiene and also helped her get involved in social events run by the facility. They were welcoming and warm towards me and my grandfather when visiting. They even offer the guests meal to enjoy with their family members. They remained conscious of my grandmother diabetes and were helpful are meal time. My family was very pleased with this facility. "The staff at Decatur House was lovely. The people who owned it were very attentive and caring. It's a small family-owned place, which gave it an entirely different feel than the other places. This would have been our top choice had we been able to convince my parents-in-law to move. The rooms were open, roomy, and efficiently designed. The entire place was very accessible too. It was easy to park, easy to see the signage, and easy to find the entrance. Since it's smaller than a lot of places, it was much more accessible. Their dining area was bright, open, and looked like a dining area in a restaurant. It's very lovely and very nicely appointed. We ran into some of the residents and they looked happy and comfortable as well. It's a very big house, but it looked like someone's home. It was very nice and immaculate."

"We chose Laurentide at Mashpee Commons. My mother has already moved in, and she loves it. It's wonderful. Everyone we've met along the way have been kind and professional. All of the workers there make me think they're a team, and they're all there for the same purpose, which is to care for the residents, and to make the last years of these people's lives the best they can be. They also have a multitude of activities to keep the seniors busy. They have daily exercise classes and a movie theater. Just everything about it, I just love. They're very welcoming. The place is very clean. Communication is very good."

"Cape Cod Senior Residence at Pocasset was a great place. The staff just seemed really nice and everybody seemed to know each other. They're really pleasant. The residents were very welcoming and it felt like home to me even though I was just visiting the place. They offer quite a few activities, like exercising, walking groups, cooking groups, computer classes, game nights with Scrabble, movie nights, and outdoor activities like picnics. They have a hairdresser that comes by and they do manicures, and for the men they have a sports group. They're pretty diversified. They have CNAs throughout the place who help you with bathing if you need it. They make your bed daily and turn you down before nighttime comes."

"I moved to Pleasant Bay Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. It was disappointing to find out that the back-up generator doesn't cover all the areas. So far it's pretty good, and I've been here for a couple of years. The workforce is very good. They're better than any other place I've heard of. They do a lot of activities than what I care about. I've done a comparison on the prices, and I'm kind of satisfied with it."

"We were able to see a variety of apartments at Heritage at Falmouth that were very nice, very bright, airy, and seemed to have ample room. They had a movie theater and a very nice kitchen that anyone could use. They had rooms that you could reserve if you wanted to do family parties, which was nice. They had lovely grounds, walking trails, and playground areas in case grandchildren were visiting. The staff was very friendly and very nice while we were there. The place was in excellent condition. The dining room and menus looked very nice. They had quite a variety, and it looked like they could accommodate just about any kind of meal plan that you would need. "

"We visited Laurelwood at the Pinehills. The atmosphere and people were nice. It was a very homey, very nice place with beautiful rooms. "

"My sister went to Life Care Center of Plymouth and the experience was good. The appearance of the place was bright, she had a nice room and a spacious area, and she had a roommate. They had a really nice ice cream parlor and she loved that. She also liked the beauty center and nail salon, and they had a coffee social hour. The services there were good, but there were a couple of things that occurred. On the fourth day she was there, her test was positive for COVID, and she never had COVID. So all of the things she was doing there that she enjoyed suddenly had to be stopped, and she had to be isolated for the rest of the time until she became negative. When she finally became negative, it was time for her to go home. The staff was good, but once she got COVID, the staff had to dress up and wear stuff and deliver her food. Other people also had to be quarantined, so everything kinda shut down at that point, which was kinda difficult,but they handled it well. It was paid for by Medicare."

"Right now, my mother lives in Stafford Hill. She has a 1-bedroom with a very nice living room, kitchen, and a little dining area. They do wonderful activities with them like art classes and sewing. They take them out and plan trips and different things for them. She likes the food. They’re very good at catering to them. "
