I visited this facility
Laurentide at Mashpee Commons was quiet and not huge. The facility was new. One of the little apartments had an alcove, which was really cute. They had a big common area in the back that kind of tied everything together. It was beautiful. They had a huge fireplace in a room where they can watch movies or something at night. They provide a microwave and a refrigerator. You have to bring your own furniture. The staff was very nice and personable. I liked her a lot.

We chose Laurentide at Mashpee Commons. My mother has already moved in, and she loves it. It's wonderful. Everyone we've met along the way have been kind and professional. All of the workers there make me think they're a team, and they're all there for the same purpose, which is to care for the residents, and to make the last years of these people's lives the best they can be. They also have a multitude of activities to keep the seniors busy. They have daily exercise classes and a movie theater. Just everything about it, I just love. They're very welcoming. The place is very clean. Communication is very good.

Laurentide at Mashpee Commons is located in Sandwich, MA, just south of the Mingo Conservation area and north of the Mashpee National Wildlife Refuge. The community is surrounded by lush woodlands and plenty of wildlife, which is ideal for seniors who enjoy being outdoors. It's also minutes from Atlantic beaches and close to a variety of restaurants and shopping centers.
Known as a state-of-the-art community, Laurentide at Mashpee Commons has 70 apartments for independent living, assisted living and memory care. Staff is available 24 hours a day to help with dressing, grooming, medication management and personal care. There is also scheduled transportation to and from medical appointments and other errands.
Mashpee Commons has a variety of amenities for residents to enjoy. The community has an on-site barber and beauty shop to keep its members well-groomed, and there are also wellness and exercise programs to keep members fit. Additional features include touch-screen computers and a brain gym that helps keep the mind alert and healthy. Cultural and educational activities are scheduled regularly and include community shopping trips, game nights, art activities and movie nights.
