I chose Cadbury Commons for my friend because of its location, it's clientele, its reputation, and I knew someone who is there, but it's not the least expensive from the ones I looked at. Their food is a little rich, but according to him it's very good. I have no reason not to recommend it. The facility looks really good. Cambridge is a very high rent district, that's why it's expensive, 'cause you're paying to be there.

Cadbury Commons was a lovely place with a very nice atmosphere. It's for intelligent people like my mother who love music and lots of good things. It was very welcoming with very nice amenities, like a library. It was in a very urban setting and only had one garden. It would be nice to have more greenery there. They had a very active schedule of events and took the residents out to very interesting venues in Boston and Cambridge. I had a nice meal while I was there.

We’re in Cadbury Commons. They offer mixed independent and assisted-living because my wife needs assisted living. The staff is wonderful; they are very friendly, very courteous, and competent, and they seem to be good with people. They give everything. Everybody knows your name and they treat you well. It’s very expensive. They have 3 meals a day. My wife and I have 2 bathrooms and 2 big rooms. They have a lot of field trips. They have a bus that takes you anywhere. We’re pretty satisfied.

Cadbury Commons is a suitable choice for elders who are in relatively good health, like intellectual activities and proximity to Cambridge, Harvard etc.. It is not a top choice for Alzheimer's care. The facility is somewhat run down and the cleanliness, quality of activities for Alzheimers residents, and staff follow up are inconsistent at best. The food is a far cry from the gourmet meals described in their marketing and too often are poorly prepared. Despite some excellent, caring staff, it is not among the best facilities in the area.

Cadbury Commons was a highly recommended facility in the area and it had a good reputation. The staff were dedicated to care for the residents. There were different levels of functioning programs depending on the level of the residents. I would recommend this place to others.

Cadbury Commons has a good community reputation. They have a very caring staff. They certainly manage the process well in terms of helping us move our loved in and understand what's going on. The room was nice and big enough and the food is okay.

I thought that the level of care was exceptional. My girlfriend's room was roomy, she was visited twice day for meds, once a day to check on the cleanliness of the room and if she needed anything extra, three meals that were prepared by a trained chef! and occasional trips to museums and parks. Patients were entertained monthly by professional singers, musicians, artists and the like, had group discussions and played games and watched TV in as huge and comfortable common room. I would like to live there should the need be!
