"Adult Daily care. Dad been attending one year. It’s been a blessing. Looking at it from the view point of what the senior likes and will thrive vs what I prefer. We needed assistance from isolation; meds; nutrition and a friendly hello every day. He has received all of them. They do a easy game daily and some musical guests. He enjoys the simple life now and that is ok. Pleasant staff with some turn over but that’s to be expected. I feel he’s safe. I never had negative issue w staff. He’s stable. Enjoy the moments. A new space in 2019 for adult daily care too."

"The rooms were very clean. My mothers care was excellent ,so warm and caring. End of life care was especially caring. They strived to keep the occupants occupied. What can I say it was just an excellent envirement for anyone needing care."

"My sister is happy and content there at the German Center. They took her out of assisted living and put her in the nursing home because she has fallen. We said how about if we try to get her back to assisted living, she said "no, I'm not leaving here." She's pleased with what's going on there, and the place is fine. "

"My sister went to Pondview Lodge Adult Day Health. All the day placements had to close with the CDC restrictions. She was very happy there. She was there a couple of years and I was very happy with that. It was very nice. The staff was very good and they brought in volunteers for entertainment. It was very safe and very structured. She used to really look forward to going there. I would bring her there in the morning. She was there from 9:00 until 2:30 or 3:00 in the afternoon. It was gorgeous. It had two floors, and it had a wide, open area with a piano and different things that they could do. They offered different activities. The upstairs clients were the ones who could take on field trips. They evaluate the person, then they would try them on one floor or the other floor depending on what their needs were. They would develop a care program of what their needs were. That's how they categorize them, which was so good. They stopped when the virus started. It was perfect because you could pick your loved ones up, then you could do little groceries, then come home and have supper with the family. They had a nurse come in for some of the people there. The building itself is ideal for seniors because it's huge. It's two big floors and it's located right on a lake. They went fishing. It was so tranquil, serene, nice, and quiet. It was a nice place for them to be. I felt comfortable she was there. We loved it. I can't say enough. I'm a big advocate for those day centers. They need to do something to get them back because it's really helpful, especially for caretakers who need to work."

"My husband Dick and I were the first two applicants at our Gloucester unit of PACE- It has been a journey. My husband was a pussy cat.. I on the other hand, was not. I was a very difficult person for them to deal with.. But they kept up their efforts to get me to help myself with their patience, I finally realized I was my own worst enemy, and they genuinely cared about us. The entire staff is wonderful, patient, caring and understanding. The interaction with staff and each individual is sincere. The food is excellent-home made-no processed foods at all. The facility has everything conceivable to aid each of us in our quest for a meaningful life. If the Northshore Unit is any example of your other facilities, you are all remarkable--but I will always think of our unit here in Gloucester Ma. as the Flagship of your group=and one to set examples by. "Beaumont in Natick is outstanding. My grandparents were in a sister facility in Westborough and they both got wonderful care. So, when my mother got ill, the first place I called was Beaumont in Westborough, but it's too far away from me, so they connected me with Natick. The care is outstanding. They have staff members that have been there for many years. They have very little turnover. It's a very difficult situation to see my mother in the condition she's in, but when I leave there, I leave with peace of mind that my mother is being well cared for. Their facility is not a huge nursing home, but the rooms are spacious and painted in warm colors. They have to have the hospital bed, but other than that, you can bring your own furnishings in to the room and try to set it up to make it home-like for them. It doesn't have an odor that a lot of nursing homes have, and it's always clean. In the time that she's been there, I have never had a complaint. The pricing is excellent. I was given a tour by a nurse, and I told her that my grandparents had been in one of the Salmon facilities. She took care of my grandparents and now takes care of my mother."

"I am blown away by the level of care and deliberative memory care activities at Whitney Place assisted living memory care. They have THREE dedicated recreational activities staff with activities almost all day long; the staff engages the residents and triggers responses that the residents obviously enjoy and look forward to. The meals are not gourmet, but fine - there are two choices brought around on plates so people can choose which one they would like with a visual connection in addition to the name of the foods, which memory care residents may not understand sometimes. There are also three nurses that keep on top of things, and are very caring and concerned about the needs of the residents and the level of care they receive. My relative has made a few trips to the hospital and the reception she gets when she returns is priceless - the enthusiasm and hugs and genuine happiness at having her back make her feel special, and so helpful with the transition when she thinks she is "going home" - a home that was gone a long time ago. My only complaints are that it's nearly impossible to get the unit to pick up the phone especially at night, and ensuring a resident is using good hygiene or noticing a rash from it. The costs are not only the best deal around, but you get all those extras, and everything is included, so no surprises. Even their manicures and hair care are a great deal! I am so delighted with the (1) care, (2) affordability, and as a result of #2,, (3) knowing I do not have to worry about what I am going to do when the money runs out. "

"The Assisted and Nursing Home are the best and have no problems with staff. Place very clean and have many things to do in the assisted living part. You get to no the staffs names very quickly. The food is great and sometimes they bring food to the assisted living area. Singing and arts and craft and they have a TV Room. Family can bring food in Thanksgiving Time. The residents rooms are vey good and have washer and dryers. You have to sign in to where your going. The dining room is big with a piano the staff gives 2 chooses to what to have to eat."

"I have chosen Blaire House of Tewksbury for my dad because it's local to where he's lived his whole life. It's not just assisted living or memory care like some of the other ones. They've got skilled nursing and a dementia center also, so he can stay on the same property. It looked comfortable. It was the right fit for him. I was there for a little over an hour, and the people that I ran into were friendly. They've got nice rooms, hallways, and a dining area. They've got a lot of outdoor space to spend time in, so I like all that."

"The care at this adult day care if WONDERFUL!! The care givers are all so kind and caring. The receptionist even brings a Greek newspaper for my husband which she picks up from a Greek friend of her fathers. I was not prepared to be so satisfied and delighted with the care my husband who has Alzeheimers receives there three days a week. "

"All I can say is, if you truly love a family member that needs adult day care, this is NOT the place to go. My best friend has had her Mother going there for about a year and in that time, her Mom has had several "accidents" and at this time is being hospitalized due to a fall while in their care, that resulted in a broken hip, trauma and surgery. This will be a very long recovery which will require many doctor appts., rehab and physical therapy. Unfortunately, Mom has dimentia and doesn't know how this happened and the staff are being extremely vague with the family. No loved one should be a victim of others mistakes and lack of care. Please think twice before going here. You may actually save a loved ones life! The only reason I gave a one star rating is because it wouldn't allow my to submit without one. In reality, I give it -0! "

"I can NOT say enough about Active Day of Hingham. The staff was so very kind and supportive not only to their members but the caregivers as well. They never ever hesitated to help with transitioning the member into the program or assisting with maintaining success for the member's daily activities. I will miss them all greatly.
