Beaumont Rehab & Skilled Nursing Ctr-Natick is very good about answering any of my husband's needs. If he pushes the button, they're there pretty quickly afterward. They seem to be very friendly. His room in the skilled nursing is two to a room. I like that everything is clean. They bathe him and keep him comfortable that way. The meals are all right. When they go into the common room, they play games and he seems to enjoy going in there and being with the other people. We also like that they accept Medicaid, because not all places do.

Beaumont in Natick is outstanding. My grandparents were in a sister facility in Westborough and they both got wonderful care. So, when my mother got ill, the first place I called was Beaumont in Westborough, but it's too far away from me, so they connected me with Natick. The care is outstanding. They have staff members that have been there for many years. They have very little turnover. It's a very difficult situation to see my mother in the condition she's in, but when I leave there, I leave with peace of mind that my mother is being well cared for. Their facility is not a huge nursing home, but the rooms are spacious and painted in warm colors. They have to have the hospital bed, but other than that, you can bring your own furnishings in to the room and try to set it up to make it home-like for them. It doesn't have an odor that a lot of nursing homes have, and it's always clean. In the time that she's been there, I have never had a complaint. The pricing is excellent. I was given a tour by a nurse, and I told her that my grandparents had been in one of the Salmon facilities. She took care of my grandparents and now takes care of my mother.

My mother was at this facility for several years. The care so bad her doctors and nurses urged me to report it to the Dept. of Public Health. She was incontinent and the toileting was at best once per day. She was not stimulated and shoved so far from activities that she slept most of the day. Although they had promised to feed her, I stayed to give her breakfast because there was never anyone available. Also, never given info about her day which made caregiving very difficult. She is not in a far superior program where she is happier and healthier. And it is half the price.
