"I've been using Montachusett Home Care for about a year now. The caregiver goes grocery-shopping for me. She runs errands and gets my prescription. She's very considerate and kind. She talks decent and she's just a nice person. The agency can improve on training their staff on dusting and helping me out with certain things that I can't do like bending. They send me people that can't bend. What good is that? They also don't provide transportation and that's what I'm looking for. "

"We chose the Blaire House for my father. He's there five days a week during the day. They've been very helpful with the overwhelming amount of paperwork to get it all set up and do a really good job. I'm very pleased with them. They play cribbage with friends there, have lunch and dinner, and do all the transportation. They have different areas for different functions, and a community room and a TV room to spend time together. They also have an overnight service. "

"I thought the staff was very friend but seemed over whelmed. The amenities were very nice and seemed clean. The nurses seemed like they knew what they were doing and answered call lights when they went off. I had a positive experience while visiting and I hope others did as well. My grandmother said she enjoyed the hot meals and games that were provided by the activity staff. The rooms were good sized and privacy seemed to be very important. "

"I toured Rivercourt Residences for my mother-in-law and it was very nice. The staff was very thorough, very, very nice, and very welcoming. The rooms were very nice, but they were a little bit smaller than we were looking for. The place was very nice and very well decorated for Christmas. They did a good job with everything. I was there after lunch, so there was no one eating, but the dining area was clean."

"Beaumont Rehab & Skilled Nursing Ctr-Natick is very good about answering any of my husband's needs. If he pushes the button, they're there pretty quickly afterward. They seem to be very friendly. His room in the skilled nursing is two to a room. I like that everything is clean. They bathe him and keep him comfortable that way. The meals are all right. When they go into the common room, they play games and he seems to enjoy going in there and being with the other people. We also like that they accept Medicaid, because not all places do."

"My friend is in Maristhill Nursing & Rehabilitation Center. She's doing well there. It's very good. They're taking great care of her and she's actually doing much better. I think they have about 100 patients. The building is four floors, and she has a shared room she shares with one other person. It has a bathroom, individual closets, individual bureaus, and a window. They provide good food and some activities. There is a nice area where she can, or we can take her for walks when we visit. We can take her out for lunch. It's very clean. They have a hard time keeping up with some of the bathrooms that everybody can access, but she has her own individual bathroom. The staff is great. There are nurses, aides, the doctor, and they're excellent in giving her her medication. She spends time with the other residents, and she's very popular there with the other residents. I don't usually see her eating, but she does seem to be happy with the meals. She said the food is good. It's one of the more expensive ones."
