"ARC-CT is a loving, respectful, clean, and professional care facility. My mother started out in their day care program and then went into assisted living, and then through both levels of advanced stage care aat this wnderful facility. She lost her battle this past Tuesday after four years at ARCC. The love, respect, dignity, and care provided not only to my mother, but to the rest of our family was beyond what any of us ever could have imagined. I cannot even adequately express how thankful I am to have ben fortunate enough to have found such a fantastic facility to care for my angel mother. "

"Joseph Tkacz sr attends the "The day Club for memory impaired. They are a wonderful and caring group. They provide fellowship, activities, interaction with clients. They keep them aleryt and happy. My dad has been goingthere for about 5 years. They are a god send to our family. They are the best facility for memory impaired and people with disabilities you can find. They also keep a medical nurse on staff that can monitor the clients. They are 5 stars. They care and concern can not be measured. 5 stars "

"The Strong House is an excellent adult daycare center. The staff is warm and caring and professional. The Strong House offers a variety of daily activities to accommodate the various needs of the patients. I highly recommend this facility. One of my clients is early-onset Alzheimer's and she thoroughly enjoys the two days she spends at the Strong House. "

"Very professional, comfortable environment. The staff is without exception very kind. This is an activity oriented facility, so if your person is anti-social or not able to participate at all it is not the place for him/her, although the staff does work with the individual to acclimatise and engage them. "Day Care" is a misnomer however, it is not analogous to child day care where you leave your child for the workday. It is more of an opportunity for the person to be socially stimulated. More "nusery school" than "day care"."

"The Jewish Home for the Elderly is an excellent nursing home where my grandmother has stayed for 5 years. She's checked on regularly, her health is closely monitored, and has a wide variety of meals to choose from. While the facility primarily serves Jewish elderly, my grandmother has been Christian her whole life and has never been judged. She would say she is unhappy but she hasn't taken full advantage of the benefits of JHE, including the outdoor courtyard and gardens where families can eat out with them, or go for a stroll. They also organize live performances from local musicians and actors. Last fall, they had a Rat Pack Tribute perform and it was a big hit. She also has a few nurses who have taken to personally visiting her for a few hours each day. She may have to move into a shared room, but I think it will do her some good to get a roommate. "

"My grandmother has been a client at Park City Adult Day Care for the past 4 years. When my grandmother gets up each morning she is so excited to be going to day care. Everyday she comes home with a smile on her face. She talks about how caring and kind the staff is, how much fun she has playing Bingo, bowling, Pokeno and how much she enjoys spending time with others her own age. I would like to thank the staff at Park City for caring for my grandmother and keeping a smile on her face. "

"Mother goes to Day-Break for day care, and the best thing is they provide bus service, which is a critical need for us. They do Bingo, exercise, and music. They serve lunch. They provide nursing and podiatrist services. They have a game room, a reading room, a TV room, and a big area for functions like Bingo, and any other games they might play. The staff is very helpful and nice and communicate very well with me."

"Juniper home care is a great place for elderly people. My parents just started going there. They like it very much. Great staff and food. "

"My husband is going to go daycare at Almost Home Adult Daycare. They serve lunch and they have a scheduled program throughout the day. Basically, some of it the VA would pay for it, so that was important for me; I have some help financially. They were very nice. In fact, we stayed four hours, and they had an entertainer who was there, and the people seemed to be comfortable there. The place was very clean, the people were very nice, and they looked like they were being kept busy. "

"I love the excellent care & fun my Mother receives when she attends Adult Daycare at Past Times! She feels loved and happy there each and every time! Arts and crafts are Mom's favorite activities! I love the one on one care she recieves and the fun Physical Therapy she recieves! The staff who attend to Mom and the other clients are loving and give me information on her day without being prompted!!! "

"Its a busy place. My mom didn't want to go first then once she started to go she loved it. Thanks to the staff making her feel welcome. lots of activities and the Bird makes her very happy. the food also gets a good rating. "

"The section where my husband is located at Saint Mary Home is part of the nursing home, but entirely winged off. The CNAs or the RN administer the medications, but generally, my caregiver is the one who stays with my husband whether he’s in his room or the dining room. Most of the people who are there are very old, so the physical therapist comes to them in their rooms. They do have at least one room for physical therapy, but the physical therapist would sometimes come to my husband’s room to work with him one on one. He’s only been there for about a week, so he’s still getting used to the facility and, of course, wants to come home. He is in a large, shared room with a wall in-between that essentially separates them for privacy, but they do share a bathroom. My husband’s roommate is usually out of his room all day, so he’s very quiet; my husband is the noisy one because of his dementia. The rooms are very nice and adequate. They’re certainly not the Taj Mahal, but they provide what’s necessary for him. "

"The senior day care is absolutely wonderful. They have a accommodated my mom for the past 3.5 years. The staff is caring and loving. The have guided my family and I through this tough transition for my mother diagnosis of dementia."
