"My impression of The Bristal Assisted Living at East Northport during our tour was great. It was over the top, it was nice. It was like a hotel, I passed by the dining room and it had linen tablecloths, they had waiters and waitresses, and they were setting up the tables. All the residents were given things like beer or wine, and they showed them the menu, and the menu had a rack of lamb, baked salmon, or barbecued ribs. They had three entrees to choose from and homemade tiramisu for dessert. It was almost very resort-like and it was expensive too, but it was very nice if you had the money to stay there. The staff who gave us the tour was great. He sat us down and we had a little brochure all set for us, he answered all of our questions and asked my mom if my dad was a veteran so she could get veteran benefits, and things like that. He went above and beyond giving us information and helping us."

"Our family diligently researched and visited many similar "care" facilities prior to deciding that the staff and facilities at Farmingdale Adult Day Care was truly a special, safe and welcoming environment for our love one. "My mother is 77 years old and wants to maintain her independence. Being her daughter I worried about her spending so much time alone. I found Park City Adult Day Care Center when speaking to a friend of mine who's mother also goes to the center. I spoke to my mother who was unsure at first about going. I called and spoke to their director Rita who talked to me for along time and helped me with different programs who pay for this service. Rita was very knowledgeable and assisted me with all the necessary paperwork. My mother and I laugh now because Park City took a woman who was unsure about leaving her house and turned her into a social butterfly. During the pandemic she was lost without the center. She has since returned to the center and is back to being happy once again. She says the staff in kind, loving and the nurse even reminds her to take her medicine. Personally, I am so happy for my mother."

"My aunt is now at Mozaic Jewish Home. It is absolutely beautiful. It's gorgeous there. It's very clean, too. The food is very good. The staff is very nice. The building is brand new. There are a lot of amenities. You can sit and eat lunch with your family. It's really nice. They have a full rehab staff there. My aunt goes down for physical therapy every week. They have a salon, people come in and do music, they do bingo, and they have shows. There's a gift shop, too. When the other place got shut down, this is where they happened to put her. Then I just put the paperwork in to keep her there because it was so nice. The weekend staff can use a little bit of help, but the staff that is there during the week is lovely. Overall, I would have no problem sending anybody here. It's more expensive than most nursing homes, but it's worth the money. There are outdoor areas to sit with your family and everything."

"My grandmother is very much enjoying the environment. The staff is incredibly friendly and treat her with respect. She enjoys being able to socialize with the other residents and enjoys the planned events and games. She has access to many types of food which she enjoys and the facility is easy for me and other members of my family to access to visit her. The staff was also able to respond to questions about the area when we were searching for somewhere to take her on her day out. After losing her husband, she has had trouble being happy and making friends, but we are confident that this facility has restored her confidence. We would easily recommend this facility to anyone looking for an assisted care facility. We looked at many before this, and while we were impressed with some, this one offered the most amenities to provide her with a comfortable and enjoyable life. "

"Waveny Care Center appears very nice and is kept well. There are many staff members including full time nurses throughout the night, janitorial staff, and other patient care staff. Given this, however, many of the staff, including the nurses speak with heavy accents which makes it hard for many of the elderly residents who are already hard of hearing to understand. Because of this, patient care is not as efficient as it could be. There are good aspects though. Each person staying in the facility has their own room with a bed, television, and bathroom. Having spoken to people currently staying there, they seem happy yet bored, and seemed all too eager to have a conversation with a complete stranger, me. "
