A nurse is on staff six days per week to provide medical monitoring, and a staff nurse checks each member's blood pressure and weight and provides medication administration, wound care and glucose testing. The center's staff is trained to provide all levels of personal care, from basic supervision to hands-on assistance. The center also has a shower program for those who have difficulty bathing at home. Elderhouse, Inc. serves a light breakfast and complete noon meal daily, which are prepared on-site, with customized options for those requiring diabetic, low-salt, low-cholesterol and soft-food fare.
