"Shamrock was referred by my mom's internal medical doctor. They're always on time and they're efficient. We've had them for a couple of months now. Some of the caregivers do light house work. Some would initiate on the things that need to be done and some don't. "

"We used VNA Home for a little while. They were fine. Some of them, he responded to more than others. They had young CNA's and older ones, but their communication was good. We had to have one person switched out; she was just a little too new for him, he took advantage of her, and we needed someone that could put her foot down. So when we expressed our concern, they switched us out and gave us someone older and wiser. So they were very good. Scheduling was fine, he was with us for a month, and then he went back to his apartment with an overnight aide, and they were wonderful because weekend he was here sometimes, sometimes he was there, and they would make changes at the last minute. The bills were a little confusing at first. They had some days wrong, and then I called them, they cleared it up, and it was all fine. "

My mother received excellent care from all the professionals assigned to her: the home health aide, the occupational and physical therapists, the Registered nurses, the social worker - we were truly blest to have them providing such professional and quality care..! "Ridgefield Visiting Nurse Association really pushed unecessary services on me as a joint replacement patient. They woudlnot listen to me when I assured them I did not need a social worker for any reason or an occupational therapy. They sent everyone extraneous for one reason----not me---to collect more money. The OT walked in tool a look at me and said "I don't know why I'm here. You do not need occupational therapy." But the fee was charged and that was the motive. The social worker should simply be in a different line of work. She was also work avoidant and unreliable when we used hired this agency for another reason. Just very inappropriate and unaware and cancels 2 minutes before she was to arrive. The nurse was coming far longer than she needed to come but--again--they wanted to charge whether I needed their professional visits or not. What I needed was rest from the calls and visits of people I didn't need. What I needed and got was an excellent physical therapist for a while. They work on a schedule that suits them best according to where they live. So if you are recently out of the hospital you ay have a person arrive at 8 AM. Many physicians and orthopedic surgeons live in Ridgefield, their wives work here and you ill be referred here because of their connection to the agency. I would shop around as they are after the money first...no question. To insist on sending unnecessary professional to a patient who is post surgery just shows their priority--money--and lack of concern for the patient and their need for rest. It was an exhausting array of unnecessary visits all so they could charge for them."

"This organization merged with two other VNAs (Foothills and Salisbury) at the end of 2020. The new organization is Litchfield VNA and Hospice. They are providing OT, PT, and nursing to my dad at home after a traumatic brain injury, and they've been absolutely fantastic! Everyone is super pleasant, helpful, and knowledgeable. They provide exercises that I can help my dad do so that his healing goes faster. They all communicate well and the nurses n call were super helpful when my dad had a medical issue in the middle of the night. I can't think of anything they could improve other than maybe adding dietary coaching to help my parents eat more of the nutrients that promote brain healing. We have the info. It's meal planning that's more of an issue for my mom."

Foothills Nursing.... were caring compassionate and understanding people...who gave us the most valuable time with our father. I would recommend this wonderful group of people to anyone that wants to give their family member quality care with dignity and compassion. "well, from what i had gathered through my visits to the home was that the staff was fairly freindly to the clients and seemed to organize and run the facility well. To say the least my father didnt really take to them and usually he is outgoing so once i leave its hard to say how the staff behaves.. most of the time my father would stay in his room which was a single room with a portable refrigarator and microwave.. and thats were he was comfortable but i guess they would have meals and staff or friends would come to get him for supper and he wouldnt want to go.. why?.. i have no idea but.. overall i would give the facility a B+ "
