I am very displeased with the services offered to me. A nurse is scheduled to come every morning. 25% of the time they're on time. 75% of the time they're late, often with no call/no shows by the time I have to leave for work. This company has caused me to be late for work enough, when they know the time I must leave home, that my company is no longer allowing me to arrive late to work anymore. Coordination with my work schedule can or should happen before the morning of a visit. I have been asked to do a "huge favor" and meet a nurse at another location instead of home for their convenience. I feel that this was a very unprofessional request. I am interested in other options of home nursing aside from NEHC.

New England home care is unprofessional, disorganized and untrustworthy. We were mysterious dropped from their computer several times and and to call the agency to inform them the aides no-showed. They admitted they had no explanation for their error. It took multiple phone calls each time to achieve resolution. Not only did they evidence themselves to be incompetent, the quality of the workers sent to the home left much to be desired. They had been recommended to us by a short term rehab facility as part of a discharge plan ,and I cannot understand why. When you allow these people into your home, it is like you invite them into your family, and when the job is not done well, you add to the already stressed lives of full time family caregivers. These agencies should provide a respite, not another responsibility on an already overwhelming list.

well, from what i had gathered through my visits to the home was that the staff was fairly freindly to the clients and seemed to organize and run the facility well. To say the least my father didnt really take to them and usually he is outgoing so once i leave its hard to say how the staff behaves.. most of the time my father would stay in his room which was a single room with a portable refrigarator and microwave.. and thats were he was comfortable but i guess they would have meals and staff or friends would come to get him for supper and he wouldnt want to go.. why?.. i have no idea but.. overall i would give the facility a B+
