My father passed on August 19th. My brother and I had been doing most of Dad's care. We were literally exhausted. Foothills Nursing.... were caring compassionate and understanding people...who gave us the most valuable time with our father. I would recommend this wonderful group of people to anyone that wants to give their family member quality care with dignity and compassion. The support my brother and I received, emotionally was invaluable and appreciated on a very deep level.

Facing a terminal illness can be overwhelming, VNA Northwest’s Hospice program is here to help you during this time. Our philosophy affirms life and views death as a natural process. Hospice neither hastens death nor prolongs life. Hospice is about choice. Through hospice care patients make decisions about how they will live their final days. With patient and family involvement a team of professionals works together to individualize a plan of care. The team includes physicians, nurses, pharmacists, home health aides, therapists, nutrition counselors, social workers, clergy and volunteers. Team members address the physical, social, emotional and spiritual needs of the patient and family. Members of VNA Northwest's staff are certified by the National Board for Certification of Hospice and Palliative Nurses.
