"Both my parents moved into Lodge at Cold Spring. It is great. It feels like family there. It's wonderful. My overall experience was awesome. Their staff is very helpful, warm, receiving of us, very informative, and they've been over the top helping us out with everything. They first spoke to my mom and dad and their accommodations are wonderful. They've got a two-bedroom apartment and they're loving it. The same for the amenities, everything's been great so far. It is just very warm and welcoming. It is a local location. It is in an area where there's close by shopping and different grocery stores, and so forth, and major highways to be able to go anywhere. We toured the whole facility and the whole building. We personally haven't tried the food, but it seems to be OK. They have a nice choice. You don't get the same thing every day, so it's nice. We walked in and they were having a Saturday evening or afternoon get together. We were there the day we went visiting and they were having fun being involved in that and then again this past Saturday, it was kinda like a little Halloween party. With COVID, it's kinda hard. People gotta be kind of still social distancing and wearing masks, but it still looked fun. For what they have to offer and everything, it's wonderful."

"I've been in Monarch Southbury before to visit people, and I thought it was a very nice place, but it was a little older. The people were very nice. They gave me a good tour. They gave me some cookies that the chef made. The memory area is separated from the rest of the facility, and they were doing wheelchair aerobics, moving their arms up and down, and all that kind of stuff. The room themselves were kind of depressing-looking and weren't very big."

"Stone Brook is a beautiful place! We have been very impressed with the apartments, the dining room and meals as well as the wonderful staff and employees! We especially would like to compliment the manner in which Stone Brook has managed to maintain excellent communication with families and care of the residents during the COVID 19 pandemic. As a Nurse and Daughter, I cannot say enough about the care and consideration Stone Brook has taken to ensure the health and safety of everyone who lives there. I would highly recommend Stone Brook to those who are looking. "

"Our tour of Covenant Living of Cromwell was great. It was awesome. It was like a hotel when you walked in there. It was absolutely beautiful. The staff was amazing. They had a cafeteria, a restaurant, and then they had a coffee shop. So there were three places you could go for a meal. They had a snack room, too. They allow you to have three meals a day, but it was like a credit card setup where they give you so much money every month and allotment for food. I think it was $300 for each person a month. The menus were awesome. The apartments were very nice. They even had a deck where you could go outside (each one had a patio deck). It's very quiet and you could bring pets if you wanted to. They had a movie theater, a music room, and an activities room where you could crochet or needlepoint or have any hobbies, you could do it there. They kept their residents engaged with a bunch of activities going on. We would have picked it, but we just couldn't afford it. It was a little on the high side."

"I've only been living here in Connect55+ East Windsor for a month now. I signed up with them at least three years ago, before they even built it. There are a couple of things I really liked about it. One was that there was a washer and dryer in the apartment. They had crafts and stuff. They had numerous activities going on, and they had garages. I was able to move all of my stuff over to the garage. It's brand new and very clean."

"We moved my mom into Southwick Village from Florida to be closer; she absolutely loves it. Her apartment is so cozy and bright, she loves the food and all the residents have been so welcoming. The staff has been great to her and it was an easy transition thanks to Jamie and Christie."

"I did a tour of Evergreen Crossings Retirement Community. When I met with Suzanne, she was very personable, explained many things to me, asked about myself, and offered to do a tour, which I did. We toured different apartments. One was a 2-bedroom, which was too large for me. The other three were 650 square feet and 610 square feet, 1 bedroom, and also a studio. The 610sqft 1-bedroom was a very livable size. Suzanne showed me all the amenities, I spent 2 hours with her. I think it's the most beautiful, independent living place I have seen. It also seemed to have cheerful residents and just a very nice demeanor. It was beautiful, and it's laid out so that in the wintertime, you can very easily walk the first floor and the second floor and get a very good walk-in for the day. They had a beautiful theater. There are grounds outside that are very nice. I found that it was tailored to each individual's needs. They have a beautiful dining room, a salad bar, and a spot where you could pick up something quick if you were hungry at times other than the meals. It's just a beautiful, very friendly place. If I were to choose one, that is the place I would choose."

"My aunt is currently staying at Emeritus at South Windsor. There were two factors why we chose this facility. One was cost and second was proximity to my house. The price was also in a reasonable range and something that she would be able to afford for a number of years. The staff seemed to be very caring and attentive. The services are good. She gets three meals a day and there are a number of activities that are scheduled. She has assistance with personal grooming and they have a beauty salon on site as well as some physical therapy. It's a relatively modest-size room, but it meets all of her needs. It’s nice and bright. "

"My Mother,chose to move to SBT River when she was 84 years old after having a minor stroke but still independent and in good health. She is now 99 years old and still in fairly good health. The wonderful comfort and increasing care she received from the staff allows her to remain in her apartment living a quality life with dignity. I visit her respectively and I can sleep at night. "

"It was pretty good. I believe it was White Oaks. The gentleman that took me around was very courteous, and he explained everything fully to me. The surroundings were clean. The rooms were beautiful and spacious. The only thing is my income won’t let me go into the community. What was described to me was very nice. "

"Bethel Health Care is one of the good ones. While no one wants to be in a facility of any kind, sometimes there is not choice. It is usually very clean. The staff is professional and courteous. Rehabilitation services are excellent, providing two sessions on most days. We did have one incident where a room was not up to standard because of the presence of insects. It was investigated and remedied immediately. Reading room, community room, and outdoor space provided for anyone interested. Food is only okay, but what can you expect. You can order outside of the traditional menu. "

"My dad is a resident of Keystone Place since December. They have been very good, very helpful, and have gone out of their way to make sure everything is OK with my dad's place. They have been very good. On top of that, it is a brand-new place, which is a big plus too. It is literally six months old. My dad has a studio. It has a small kitchen that has a fridge and freezer, a microwave, a sink, and all the basic necessities. The place has a small theater and a fitness center, which is cool. They have a bar. Every Friday, they have a happy hour, which my dad has been able to partake. It has all the amenities that you would want. They have activity rooms with various games and puzzles. There is always something for residents to do. The food is always the rave. Everyone is very nice, very respectful and very patient with our requests. The place is huge. It is great. It is a lot bigger than where my dad was before. They have a laundry room where they have four washers and four dryers, so residents can do their laundry."
