"My Grandmother spent some time in this facility. The staff was very friendly and helpful with all of my grandmothers needs. They helped her with her hygiene and also helped her get involved in social events run by the facility. They were welcoming and warm towards me and my grandfather when visiting. They even offer the guests meal to enjoy with their family members. They remained conscious of my grandmother diabetes and were helpful are meal time. My family was very pleased with this facility. "

"The Senior Center of Dennis picks up my husband anywhere between 9:00 and 9:30 in the morning three days a week and they bring him back around 2:15 to 2:45 in the afternoon depending on how many people are on the bus. I think the program is outstanding and it is simple. They have discussion groups, they read the paper, play Bingo, and he enjoys it. There's a 92 year-old who goes and plays the piano and still sings all the songs, and they love that. Then they have their lunch. They have two volunteers that are members of the senior center that comes; one woman does two days a week, and the other one does the Friday. I am impressed with the staff. "

"I was generally not impressed with Royal of Harwich. I realize it's an antique house, but the rooms were old-looking. It's all so old and sort of shabby, and I wasn't sure that it's actually clean. The dining room was just a room with tables in a big open space. The staff who showed me around was nice, but she just kind of gave me a quick tour because I don't believe it's her job. When I walked in, there was an aide or a nurse on the first floor and then they have a balcony above, and there was another aide up above yelling back and forth about somebody's medication. It just didn't hit me. They didn't really seem safe either because they showed me a studio with an outside door to a little brick patio with no railing whatsoever. Any elderly person going out there could just fall off. It wasn't raised, and it was on ground level, but you'd have to step down, which is hard to do with a walker."

"What I like about Royal is that it's close to my house and I can just visit my Aunt anytime. The nurses and staff working there were very good and I have no complaints about them. She is in a 3 bedroom but she has dementia so she is not in her room too often. I haven't heard her complaining about the food. Other people have but she is not complaining so that's fine. "

"The Woodlands was a better option because that's where my mom lives. It's better to leave her up there than to move her down to Florida with me. It's a great place and I love the staff. It's a real top-notch. It's pretty new, the rooms are nice, and the food was good. The environment is nice, but I think they could have a better outside place to walk. Where the residents walk is kind of a driveway where the cars are as well. My mom wasn't really happy about going, but I think she knew she needed to go because she needed some help. She's okay with that and she's happy being there. "

"JML Care Center Inc was the facility I chose for my mother. The staff treated my mom like family. All her medical needs were met. They also gave good emotional support to the family. The place was just exceptional. "
