"The tour at Chelsea Soldiers' Home was excellent. The guy giving the tour took his time with us and showed us all of the amenities. It's just immaculately clean and it's a fresh, modern living environment. The rooms are private and they're good sized. And they all have their own bathroom. They do have a courtyard and activity area."

"The rooms were very clean. My mothers care was excellent ,so warm and caring. End of life care was especially caring. They strived to keep the occupants occupied. What can I say it was just an excellent envirement for anyone needing care."

"Beaumont in Natick is outstanding. My grandparents were in a sister facility in Westborough and they both got wonderful care. So, when my mother got ill, the first place I called was Beaumont in Westborough, but it's too far away from me, so they connected me with Natick. The care is outstanding. They have staff members that have been there for many years. They have very little turnover. It's a very difficult situation to see my mother in the condition she's in, but when I leave there, I leave with peace of mind that my mother is being well cared for. Their facility is not a huge nursing home, but the rooms are spacious and painted in warm colors. They have to have the hospital bed, but other than that, you can bring your own furnishings in to the room and try to set it up to make it home-like for them. It doesn't have an odor that a lot of nursing homes have, and it's always clean. In the time that she's been there, I have never had a complaint. The pricing is excellent. I was given a tour by a nurse, and I told her that my grandparents had been in one of the Salmon facilities. She took care of my grandparents and now takes care of my mother."

"Adult Daily care. Dad been attending one year. It’s been a blessing. Looking at it from the view point of what the senior likes and will thrive vs what I prefer. We needed assistance from isolation; meds; nutrition and a friendly hello every day. He has received all of them. They do a easy game daily and some musical guests. He enjoys the simple life now and that is ok. Pleasant staff with some turn over but that’s to be expected. I feel he’s safe. I never had negative issue w staff. He’s stable. Enjoy the moments. A new space in 2019 for adult daily care too."

"My sister is happy and content there at the German Center. They took her out of assisted living and put her in the nursing home because she has fallen. We said how about if we try to get her back to assisted living, she said "no, I'm not leaving here." She's pleased with what's going on there, and the place is fine. "

"My husband goes to Blaire House of Tewksbury for daycare. He seems happy with the place. They play bingo and trivia games. When the weather is good, they go out for a walk. The socialization is good, and they are very good with him. The staff is very patient. It is a very nice place. It is clean, and it is in a quiet area. I am very happy with them. "

"My sister went to Pondview Lodge Adult Day Health. All the day placements had to close with the CDC restrictions. She was very happy there. She was there a couple of years and I was very happy with that. It was very nice. The staff was very good and they brought in volunteers for entertainment. It was very safe and very structured. She used to really look forward to going there. I would bring her there in the morning. She was there from 9:00 until 2:30 or 3:00 in the afternoon. It was gorgeous. It had two floors, and it had a wide, open area with a piano and different things that they could do. They offered different activities. The upstairs clients were the ones who could take on field trips. They evaluate the person, then they would try them on one floor or the other floor depending on what their needs were. They would develop a care program of what their needs were. That's how they categorize them, which was so good. They stopped when the virus started. It was perfect because you could pick your loved ones up, then you could do little groceries, then come home and have supper with the family. They had a nurse come in for some of the people there. The building itself is ideal for seniors because it's huge. It's two big floors and it's located right on a lake. They went fishing. It was so tranquil, serene, nice, and quiet. It was a nice place for them to be. I felt comfortable she was there. We loved it. I can't say enough. I'm a big advocate for those day centers. They need to do something to get them back because it's really helpful, especially for caretakers who need to work."

"My husband Dick and I were the first two applicants at our Gloucester unit of PACE- It has been a journey. My husband was a pussy cat.. I on the other hand, was not. I was a very difficult person for them to deal with.. But they kept up their efforts to get me to help myself with their patience, I finally realized I was my own worst enemy, and they genuinely cared about us. The entire staff is wonderful, patient, caring and understanding. The interaction with staff and each individual is sincere. The food is excellent-home made-no processed foods at all. The facility has everything conceivable to aid each of us in our quest for a meaningful life. If the Northshore Unit is any example of your other facilities, you are all remarkable--but I will always think of our unit here in Gloucester Ma. as the Flagship of your group=and one to set examples by. "I visited this facility to see my great grandmother. She was living there because she had Alzheimer's Disease, and they seemed to take great care of her. We arrived before we were visiting hours and were able to see her for a minute interacting with others and doing an activity to help her memory. The care I saw at the facility was excellent and the nurses and aids seemed like they really cared about all of the people in need of assisted living. Also, the center was very well kept and clean when my family visited. It was a beautiful building and very nice on the inside, as well. My great grandmother told us that she actually felt comfortable and happy there. She said she thought that the nurses were very helpful and caring all of the time. She said she had never had any problems with anyone who worked there. I think it is a great place for assisted living because my great grandmother tends to be stubborn, and she actually enjoys living there. "

The receptionist even brings a Greek newspaper for my husband which she picks up from a Greek friend of her fathers. I was not prepared to be so satisfied and delighted with the care my husband who has Alzeheimers receives there three days a week. "

"Somebody from Elder Services of the Merrimack Valley came every other day to help my mom. They called me about everything that happened and suggested certain things to be done to help my parents. They were very suggestive and if they did not provide the service, they found someone that did. They were just willing to help and they were very good at what they do. "
