"I went to tour for my mother. It was very quiet there. The activity lady was very nice and the lady that showed us around was excellent. It's smaller than the other facility that I visited. It only has three floors. There weren't a lot of people there. The grounds weren't that great. The building was in the back and you could sit outside under a cover, but there was no landscaping. All it had was the parking lot and they had projects behind the fence."

"Cabot Park Village is too expensive for us, but the location, food, and grounds are good. This facility has a lot going for it, but we couldn’t afford it. "

"Maplewood at Weston is a beautiful assisted living facility. Overall, I have been very happy that I moved my parents there. Many of the staff members are exceptional, including the Executive Director who is warm, welcoming, and extremely responsive. My parents have a two-bedroom apartment that overlooks the river, and enjoy delicious meals 3 x a day. We have been especially thrilled that my non-ambulatory, 96-year-old father is swimming several times a week in the beautiful, on-site pool with help from the resident fitness director, who is a trained physical therapist. I have mixed reviews of the caregiving staff - some are excellent, but others would benefit from closer supervision. "

"The people at Summer Place seem to be friendly. They have movie nights, book clubs, go out to different restaurants, and go shopping. They serve three meals a day and usually have snacks, flavored water infused with fruit, and coffee all day long. They have a cleaner once a week and a bus that takes them shopping, out to eat, or to watch movies. They offer arts and crafts, bingo, and Wine Wednesdays. They also do transportation services for doctors' appointments. "

"We found The Residences at Wingate for my mother. The community actually has two separate buildings. There is the skilled nursing building and the assisted living building. The assisted living has both normal assisted living with a dining area and entertainment, and then there’s the memory care that has the security and extra activities. They’ve worked hard to hire good people and train them to really be understanding of the residents. They seem to be doing a very good job with what they said they would be doing. They have a kitchen on-site that tries to do a good job. "

"I moved my mom after 5 years in a facility very close to me and spent 7 nights a week there with her and the staff. I liked most of the staff however they didnt stay long. I had many issues with management so I moved her to the Parc in January of 2020 just before the pandemic and since the move mom has received hands in care, gained weight which was a necessity and gets lots of love from the staff. She is smiling and flourishing now instead of crying and for that I’m grateful. Making the switch to the Parc was the best decision I’ve made for those looking for great care with a solid staff I highly recommend you give it a look. I give it 5."

"Sophia Snow Place was pleasant. I had no issues with it; it just wouldn't serve my friend's purposes. It was clean, the people were friendly, and they seemed to enjoy living there. The person who I spoke with was very pleasant."

"I visited and the staff was very cordial. I liked that it was in a somewhat suburban setting. It was interesting and unique and had an absolutely wonderful view. The rooms were typical and small but OK. There were lots of shops, coffee houses, and churches around the area. "

"I toured the Woods and loved the Locke building. It had everything, dining area, movie theater, chapel, exercise room, etc. I loved that each apartment had its own washer and dryer. The room I saw had a balcony, the apartments have a stove. I was ready to commit until I heard the price! Unfortunately I misunderstood that the starting price was $3500. It is, but not at the Locke. It is at the Magnolia building. The apartments are also beautiful, I looked at one, BUT all the activity rooms, and especially the dining room, are all in the Locke building, which means 3 times a day to go for meals, requires going "outside," not very nice in the winter! I do not know why, when these buildings were being built, there was no inside access between buildings so a person didn't have to go outside. That was the main reason I did not rent an apartment at the Magnolia. I LOVE the Locke, but cannot afford it."

"I loved Emeritus. The rooms were spacious and they had a living room with a separate bedroom. I really liked how the windowsills are really deep that you could put decorations and pictures there. The rooms are very bright with big windows and it was very cheerful. Ed, the one who toured us was very patient, he didn't rush us or anything but he showed us everything and answered all our questions. The commute in going to Framingham, however was a nightmare. I would recommend this place to anybody. "

"My grandmother was a resident at Allerton House, and so we came to visit this place again when we were looking for a facility for our parents. My parents already knew this place, and they like it. They also like the location, but they have limited availability for two people, and we are looking for a place for my parents. The food was fine. The facility is really nice. The rooms were nice. "

"Orchard Cove was second on our list. Our tour was a very good experience. The facility was clean. The community was welcoming. The staff person who toured us was very knowledgeable and very responsive to our questions. We were very impressed with it. The dining area was very comfortable, very warm, and very welcoming. They had a flower bed, and vegetable garden for the residents, and they had patios to sit on when it was warm. They had a walking path, which is important for us."

"I was thinking about moving my mom into Allerton House because their food service is much faster. Her friend is there. They don’t wait for food, which I like. It was an older building but inice. I didn’t see too many staff members, but I haven’t heard any problems because her friend’s family seems to like it there. I was visiting someone’s room and the room was average, clean, and had nice windows. It seemed OK."
