Excellent care. Kind attentive and caring staff. Dad moved from Assisted Living with day programming in Avita to fulltime residency in Memory Care/Avita program. Transition was well thought out and staff went out of their way to help us and Dad. I am very thankful for Stonehill and highly recommend them for all services they provide.

Stone Hill at Andover was a new place. A third of it is full and it was two-thirds empty. The price was ridiculous, just like all of the other communities I saw. I liked the place because it was new and nice and it's a larger community. It had very nice surroundings and it was well done. The room I saw there was kind of small, it was a small efficiency room, but they have different rooms available. So I can find something like a medium sized efficiency rooms. The rooms were also set up nicely. They have a $7 charge for taking the food up to your room. They said that it's to encourage more people to come down to eat. I think that's a lot of bull, and that's disappointing. It's for every meal every day, so that would quickly accumulate. If you want to encourage them to come down for the meal you can do so without charging them. I don't think my mother would like it because it's all in one building.
