Bay Village of Annapolis

Bay Village is converting part of their assisted living area into another memory care unit, so they are expanding their memory care. Their rooms were larger than most of the places that I've seen, but that's because they were converting assisted living quarters to memory care. They have nice-sized rooms, they're new, and they have a lot of activities. The staff was very helpful and very engaged. They have a lot of stuff going on there. They have a bistro, pizza bar, and a coffee bar. They have a lot of stuff that I'm sure is really good for the people that are just assisted living. And you can go in there and take your memory care person in there if you want to. There was just a lot going on and I just didn't think my husband would be comfortable there. In their memory care unit they have a lot of big common areas where they do all kinds of activities. One thing that I thought was kind of nice was that they have an underground parking garage there, so that if you wanted to come and visit, you can just come right up the elevator. Or if you needed to take your resident out to doctors' appointments or whatever, that would be very handy. But they were quite expensive. Their one-time fee I thought was excessive.

Bay Village of Annapolis was great. The staff was very informative and answered my questions. The community is beautiful, bright, clean, and brand new. A lot of residents were out and active. One time, we were there for happy hour, and then we were there for bingo. It was beautiful. Their dining area is large, bright, and clean.
