"I toured Harmony at West Shore. It wasn't as large as the other facility, so that felt a little less overwhelming. It's very clean. They have a great two living spaces for assisted living. It was a better feeling. It was not quite as small and cozy as the other facility, but I put it down in my list of top five. If someone was looking for assisted living, it was definitely worth a look. I was satisfied with the staff."

"I visited Holiday The Manor At Oakridge. They were very personable and went out of their way to do anything they could for me. My son and my daughter-in-law went back, and we had a second tour. They answered all our questions without hesitation. They knew exactly what to say. They were just wonderful. The food was very good. We met the chef and talked to him for quite a while. He was an excellent man. I'm sure if I asked for something, he would make it happen. They have a set menu, but they have choices. The common areas are very nice. They have things to do every day, and that's what I like. They have games, and they take you places. I just really like the place. They have different-sized rooms, but they have just remodeled their place. It was old, and they're still going through some of the rooms, but most of them are remodeled."

"Moving a loved one into a senior living community can be challenging, but my recent experience with Country Meadows was smooth and positive. The staff, especially Garrett, showed empathy from our first inquiry. They answered all our questions, addressed concerns, and guided us through each step. Garrett’s professionalism and genuine nature were reassuring. The staff made my parents feel welcome and comfortable in a warm, supportive atmosphere. My mother often wonders why they didn’t move sooner. I am grateful to the entire team at Country Meadows for their kindness and professionalism. "The Residence at Fitz Farm has been a wonderful living space for our parents. They live in an Assisted Living apartment which is very modern, clean and compact for their needs. Our family is so grateful for the excellent care they both receive = the compassionate interactions, the concern and availability to answer any questions is remarkable. The leadership from Administration to Nursing to work with our parents and our family to meet their needs is exceptional. In addition, the services available from hair salon, podiatry, physicians for in-room visits and rehab services is above and beyond.. Also, the receptionist, housekeeping and maintenance staff go above and beyond for their residents. Kayla was creative in working with us to place my father in a different apartment for 10 days until my parents could be together in the same apartment which was invaluable. The dining room experience and staff is very special and our parents have many great options and ability to socialize with others. Thank you to Charity for her leadership at the facility and introducing us to the facility several months ago during a very difficult time for our parents. Greatly appreciate the Residence at Fitz Farm and their wonderful staff !"

"My parents are at Country Meadows of York West. We haven't been there for a long time, but so far everything has been great. The people have been super, super nice. Everything has been clean. The staff has been wonderful. The apartment is extremely spacious. So far, so good. The building itself is very nice and tasteful. It's not overwhelming. The space is very spacious compared to other things I've seen, and it's great for the price. With regards to activities, they have somebody that actually comes to draw my parents out a little bit more, which we may take advantage of. My parents do very little activities. Everything is going really well and we're so grateful for Country Meadows and for their wonderful, wonderful staff. They offer a lot of activities and they offer very nice events."

"Sprenkle was a great community with a great people. The seniors were very friendly and always had a smile on their face. The assistants were very nice to the seniors, and assisted them at all times. I would love to visit Sprenkle again, because it offers so much to do. For example, you can play Wii in the recreation area, and have great discussions with your fellow seniors. The village provides all things needed for a healthy and great living environment. More often then not, you will have a phenomenal time there, and your afternoon will fly by, because of the great activities you can do. As you pull in the main complex, you are greeted by a gorgeous recreation house, with various cottages surrounded in the lush landscape. Your adventure awaits, and relaxation is everything at Sprenkle. There is nothing better than kicking your feet up and watching the sunset, right from your backyard. A true place for serenity. "

"Providence Place Senior Living of Dover was excellent. Our experience was wonderful. They took very good care of my husband's grandmother. They had lots of activities for her to do. The rooms were very nice. I didn't have any issues with any staff there. We had Christmas cookies. They had a Christmas party. She never had any complaints about the food. She always enjoyed their options there. At first, going into a place like that, she was not happy, but this time, we had to call her to go visit her because she was busy. The condition of the facility was above average. They got what they paid for."

"I visited Shrewsbury Courtyards II twice. The first time was because I had a friend who lived there and she took me in to see what the apartment looked like, what size it was, and everything. My friend was the one who took me on a tour of the grounds and some of the facilities. Then I went back about a week later and I was given an application. I filled it out and gave it to the lady in charge of the complex. The overall grounds were beautiful. Each unit had a balcony or a patio area and the grounds were well kept up. It was just immaculate. I saw the laundry facilities and they looked very clean and well-kept, too. I saw that they have a mail room. So, instead of going outside to a mailbox, you have an actual room with mailboxes in it so that you don't have to get drenched if it's raining outside. When they built this place, they built it with the residents in mind."

"Accolades Inc was fine and I liked that there were not a lot of people there so my mom would get more one-on-one attention. I liked it and I had no issues with the staff members I met. The place looked really clean, but the rooms are on the smaller side. My mom has a private room. They do their nails and hair, they play bingo, they do game nights, and go on walks."

"I'm very pleased with St. John's Herr Estate. I am with people around my age so we have a lot in common. I got an apartment with a dining room, living room, bedroom, bathroom, and a full kitchen. So it's nice. They give me a $125 a month credit for my meals and I can go up and eat in their restaurant. I normally have breakfast every day and make my other meals myself. The menu is varied and it's always well-prepared, well-done, and never overcooked. It's great. We get all kinds of activities going on here. They have bus trips going down to the bank and shopping centers. Then they have bingo here, Wii bowling, shuffleboard, and all kinds of stuff going on. They even have a small farm at the end of the property where you can do some gardening if you want to. The staff is very friendly and cooperative. They'd do anything you ask them to do. The facility is almost brand new. It is clean and well-maintained. For what I paid to get in, it was more than reasonable. It's a one-time fee and then I pay a monthly fee for my apartment. It's a good price."

"All apts and cottages are well kept. Cottages include mowing and shoveling. Most have nice size patios. Rides are availab l e to grocery stores as are group tri p s, dinners and other activies. Full sized gym, movie theatre and large pool also on campus. Also art stufio and all sorts of clubs and groups. Outdoor activities like softball etc in good weather. Educational classes of all kinds as well as all kinds of art activies...library etc. Workers and residents are very kind"

"Masonic Village at Elizabethtown was a very nice place. It's very large. It has a great deal of activities. It has buses that go around and pick people up. They visit different places for activities. I don't even know how many people are in there, but it's huge. You would get lost for a while, but other than that, it's a beautiful place. It's very well set up. It has some very old buildings there and the newer buildings they built were in the style of the old buildings to keep up with the whole ambiance of the place. The insides are beautiful. They have them very well put together. It's a very lovely place. My husband loved it, but it was just too far from where we live right now. It was about a 100-mile drive and our kids were not happy about that. The staff was very accommodating, very nice, and very friendly. We visited only the apartments."

"My grandfather has been a long term resident in this facility for about 3 years now and we love it. He has been treated wonderful by all staff, has made many friends with the other residents, and is always complimenting on the food! Great place for rehab or long term needs!"
