The Residence at Fitz Farm

Our parents have been at the Residence at Fitz Farm, Personal Care for one year. Our large family has visited them from across the country and we have all remarked on how happy and safe they are in their new home. The leadership has instilled a strong work ethic and caring that creates a beautiful living environment. The community feeling among all the staff , caregivers, housekeeping and maintenance to ensure the residents are safe and happy is very genuine. The dining experience provides very nutritious meals and offers a time for residents to share time together. In the event that our parents were not feeling well, the staff brought them meals and provided support. Our Christmas was incredible for some of our family to enjoy a delicious dinner with our parents in the dining room and make their first Christmas very special and also, the entire residence was decorated so beautifully. The recent snow storm was worrisome but the leadership all stayed through the storm and staff were encouraged to stay which evidences true leadership and care. The clinical team leadership provides excellent communication and availability as needed. We truly appreciate all the Residence at Fitz Farm staff and leadership who have been so kind to our parents over the past year and would recommend the Residence at Fitz Farm to anyone seeking a safe, caring and quality home environment. The Residence at Fitz Farm is practically brand new or it looks brand new. It's very, very nice. The people were great. Suzanne wasn't supposed to be our guide, but she took it over because the gentleman who was supposed to be there had quit unexpectedly. She was very thorough. She showed us the one-bedroom apartments with balconies and the ground floor level. It's beautiful. They had very large rooms for a living room and dining room combination. The bedroom was big and the bathroom was all handicapped accessible. They had a washer and dryer. They had plenty of closet space. The one thing I liked was that they had a storage area where you could take and put stuff in a locked cage-type thing and store whatever you weren't using. My only problem was it was a little outside of my pocketbook.
