"We picked out Mount Hope Nazarene for my father in-law. It’s a nice home that’s good for his low income. It wasn’t fancy, but it was clean and had a very caring staff. The clientele looked to be quite pleased and werre really treated as family. The staff was willing to take the time for each specific person. It’s been a pleasure talking to them, and they were very helpful, assisting, and did their best to get him a room. It was very clean, and when you go in, it smells good. "

"The Middletown Home is a humongous complex with a lot of room to move around. It has a very likeable and caring staff and nice roomy apartments that they built to suit you. They also have continuing care there, so if you're sick and you live with somebody, and they want to go away, they can check you in there, and they'll watch you well. Whatever you need, it's right down the hall. "

"I was at Kadima Rehabilitation & Nursing At Campbelltown for therapy. The staff was great. The food could be improved on, but they have it tailored for everybody in the place, so they're limited in what they can do in terms of salt, seasonings, and stuff. They've been working on improving what they have there. The girls that ran the activities department were really good, and the people who did the therapy were good, but the kind of therapy was limited because of the kind of place that it was."

"Penn State Health Rehabilitation Hospital was a really fantastic rehab community. It's an acute care place and I went there straight from the hospital. It's not as fancy inside as the other places I have been to, but it's state-of-the-art, and it's not a nursing home or assisted living place. The food was really good and I was always amazed with the quality of the food there. They tell you the choices on their menus early so that you can decide for the next few days or next week. You can mark down extra stuff, special items or substitutes available if you don't like anything they have that day."

"St. Anne’s was really nice. I liked the religious aspect of it, as well as the fact that it allowed pets. It seemed really friendly, clean, and in a nice location. "

"Mom has been in the independent living part of Lebanon Valley Brethren Home for 15 years and will be moving soon to the assisted living section. It is a very good place. Mom is the second generation in her family to stay there. It's been great. It is very clean and extremely well maintained. They have been very responsive, and we don't have any complaints at all. They just built new apartments that are really magnificent and beautiful. "

"Pleasant View is a highly recommended facility. Ideal location, many referrals recommending it most highly: people who have been there or who know of people who have been there. It is a pleasant view. You look out and they have a gorgeous countryside. They have a pool, and my wife loves the water. It may be a possibility of helping her with rehab by going to the pool because she needs exercise of some kind. They have a walkway so you don’t have to be exposed to the outside during our miserable winters like we had this past winter. They're close by some of our homes. "

"I was recently a patient at Manor Care Kingston Court York Pa. It was the fifth facility I was at due to my condition. By far I consider this facility the best. The care was outstanding from the moment I arrived until the time of my discharge. The CNA'a and Nurses were kind considerate and compassionate at all times. I commend the following employees for their professionalism with my care: CNA's Danny, Megan, Brittany, Sam, Abby, Tamra and Tonya, Nurses Tammy, Rebecca, Brooke, Calzare, Connie, and Kristine. The OT AND PT staff were second to none. Their program offered me the opportunity to gain strength, coordination and techniques to get around in my home with little or no help. A special thanks for the outstanding efforts of the following: OT staff John and Katie. PT staff Donna, Jen, and Heather. These employee taught me the ability to transition home with mnimal efforts. "We will be moving into Cornwall Manor in about a year. We've visited the place and we're very happy with it. It's a beautiful spot. We will have a new apartment with two bedrooms. The staff is very friendly. They have medical facilities and they can provide 24/7 nursing care if needed. All of the utilities are paid except for the internet, TV and telephone. They have a woodworking shop, a large swimming pool, an exercise center, gift shops, restaurant, and a chapel. The facility is quite close to one of our children, too. "
