My mom is in skilled care at ManorCare. They’re very good to Mother, who is a problem patient; she’s a little demanding. ManorCare is a very clean place. Of course, my mother can’t be pleased by anything, anywhere, anytime, and any year. We pop in unexpectedly all the time, and she is very well taken care of 24/7. They have entertainment every day and keep residents very busy. She is allowed to go out to visit. They have nice screened-in rooms and sun porches, and physical therapy, doctors, footcare, and a hairdresser. Everything is right-on in the facility. I will give them a 5 because they have more patience and tolerance than I could have. I haven’t eaten their food, but it looks wonderful. These places are expensive, but they have worked with me very patiently and very diligently to get me all kinds of assistance. They have just been marvelous to work with. They know things in and out better than I do.
