"My father has been at Audubon Villa since April 2011. They have all single rooms which is very nice to have your privacy. He is receiving very good care and the nurses and aides are very caring, helpful and nice. They listen and address all his requests. He also enjoys the good food & selections. When I have questions the nurses are very willing to listen and give me updates or guidance. Audubon Villa is a very small facility located on Broad Street in Lititz. For our family it is very convenient. My father was at another facility I won't mention and we were not satisfied. We are very glad we made the change to Audubon Villa. As a caregiver you have a lot of decisions to make and they are not easy and often need to be made very quickly when someone is in the hospital. I would recommend checking with Audubon Villa if you have a loved one that needs that special skilled nursing care. "

"We liked Brethren Village Retirement Community. We liked the size of it; it is not all that big. We liked the apartments that they sell and the facilities; the pool, the exercise room, and the people were lovely. It was very pretty. The food seemed very good. The main reason why we like it so much is that it is five minutes from our son. The staff was very, very friendly -- everybody was. We liked so much that we saw many people around; nobody was back in their apartments. They came out and they were friendly. We were very impressed. We have decided to go with them, but it will take two to three years before we can go. They have such a waiting list, but it is worth waiting for. We had a wonderful feeling about it. "

"Cornwall Manor is a good place, and the price is a little on the high side, but it's affordable for us. The staff members I met were great. The location is very good in a nice neighborhood that's centrally located for shopping and things like that. They set us up in a nice two-bedroom single home cottage overnight. The one-bedroom apartments were also nice. We saw people gardening, in the gym, playing cards and in a pool."

"My husband was in another nursing home. Then he got sick and he had TIA (Transient Ischemic Attack) and they put him back in the hospital. When they're talking about releasing him, I had to find other places so I tried to see what Lancashire Nursing was like. And I was looking for something closer to home. The facility is huge. The owner of the place gave me a tour. It holds about 265 to 275 people. There were people in wheelchairs up and down all the halls. There were people everywhere, so I just thought that would be too much for my husband. Another thing is they don't have TVs in their rooms, but you can bring your own. That would never work because that's how he passes the time. Their physical therapy was very nice and the rooms were fairly good size. The whole place was clean. It's just so busy and I couldn't imagine my husband being there. "

"Woodcrest Villa is a very nice place run by the Mennonite church. We have a friend who moved there from Florida so we took a look. Everything is brand new and excellent. The staff are all Mennonites, they’re religious people, and they take good care of you. "

"I'm ready to move into Landis Homes when they have an opening. There is a real sense of community where people could go and there are a lot of activities and events. It's a very well-maintained facility. It's very close to where I wanted to be. The location is important. The person that showed me around was great. She was very friendly, personable, and knowledgeable. There are multiple buildings. It appeared to be extremely clean, neat, and well cared for. They have patios and balconies depending on what you choose. Some have sunrooms. They have a wide variety. They showed me independent living for the most part because that's what I was looking for, but if you need to add assistance, later on, that is available."

"At Homestead Village, I like the grounds, the cleanliness, and the residents of the facility. The staff was very professional and responsive. A lot of the apartments have been renovated to include ceramic tiled showers and granite countertops, and they are aesthetically appealing. The food is above average, and there are a lot of choices. They have swimming, musical activities, spiritual activities, and trips, so there are quite few things available to do. However, in the skilled care area, sometimes there appeared to be a shortage of staff. "

"I was a resident here & I was VERY pleased with the care I got along with everything else. Their PT & OT departments/techs are top of the line. I needed continued help to learn to walk again as well as climb steps to get into my home. I thought the food was good & ALL WORKERS were always pleasant. I wouldn't hesitate to return to this facility if needed or to recommend it highly to others. I can't forget to mention how nice the shower room is compared to another nursing home I was in earlier in 2018."

"The nurses are always busy and hard to get when you need them. Most are friendly. Administration seems to be overworked but most are friendly too. The social worker was always helpful and made herself available and the admissions was very friendly too!!!"

"St. Anne’s was really nice. I liked the religious aspect of it, as well as the fact that it allowed pets. It seemed really friendly, clean, and in a nice location. "

"The building and furnishings are very worn. It is dark and dreary and all of the facilities appear shabby with peeling wallpaper, threadbare carpet, well-used dining room furniture, and furniture in the resident's rooms. Compared to other facilities it appears to be a very low cost facility, because they look like they do not invest money in keeping up the appearances.The staff are all wonderful - patient, kind and truly care about the residents. The only bad experience I have had is with the receptionist at the door when you enter and I'm sure that is just a part-time position. The woman is rude and unfriendly. The staff interacting with the residents make you forget the dreary facility because they go above and beyond all the time to make the residents comfortable and maintain a friendly atmosphere.The location is beautiful and the facility is surrounded by rolling green pastures even though it is located on a main road. The grounds are taken care of very well and when sitting in the recreation room on a bright and sunny day, the residents have a beautiful view of the countryside. "
