"Mulberry Gardens Senior Living was the best. It was exemplary. There was nothing I complained about with them. They were attentive, they communicated everything with me, and cared for my mother. They were wonderful. She had a ground-floor apartment with a little kitchenette, a living room, a bedroom, a bathroom, and tons of storage. The layout of the facility was also exemplary. It was very easy to get from one place to another. They had arts and crafts, people coming in to sing and entertain, day trips where they would go to the store, and several parties like Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter. We ate there many times and the food was fantastic. They had a great chef. Everything about that place was great. The staff cared so much about them. One staff member called me here just a few months ago to ask me how my mother was doing down here."

"I have toured Holiday Copley Place, it's a very nice place and they're doing renovations. The one thing that held me back there is that they don't have kitchens in their units. They have kitchenettes with a small sinks. They're gorgeous now but they're going to be even more gorgeous after their millions of dollars worth of renovations. The staff was wonderful and they have a lot of activities going on."

"Brookdale Montrose was fantastic. It was a beautiful place, and the rooms were great and bright. The staff was very nice, and they had a room where there's an outside entrance so I can take my dog out in the middle of the night when he has to go. Their meal selections look very good as well as their activities. Their religious aspect as far as being able to take you to church was very good. I can't really find a complaint with them, and I really enjoyed my visit with them. It's good. "

"I went to Eden Vista of Stow. We liked that it looked clean and homey, not like a big, fancy hotel. The apartments had a living area, a kitchen area, a bedroom, and a bathroom. The person who took us around was very friendly and very informative."

"I saw The Gables of Green. I saw both assisted living and independent living. It's basically a brand new building. It was furnished nicely for the common areas. From what I saw, they have great daily menu. The staff was very helpful and informative. It was a fantastic-looking building."

"My mom is a resident at The Village of St. Edward at Green. It's awesome. The memory care is only spaced for 14 people on one side and 14 people on the other side. When she moved in, there were only 12, and she was the 12th person and no one was on the other side yet. It's good because they are in a contained area and I think it's a lot easier to control Covid because they don't have any Covid cases. They have activities. They send you a calendar of what they're doing. Every Monday and Friday, they have current events, exercise, thinking cap, and TV hours just for the morning. Another day, they have bingo, music therapy, bean bag toss, and puzzles. I like music therapy especially for her because she really likes music. One of the reasons we picked The Village of St. Edward is because it is 10 minutes from my house, 10 minutes from my sister and 15 from my brothers. Also, they could take her from private pay to Medicaid, which was another issue, so that we don't have to move her. I like the people that work there. They are very kind, trained, and know how to approach people and how to calm people. They're very good at their job. Everybody that we have been in contact with has been very helpful. They would tell you whatever little things. We have met all of those involved in her care. The facility is brand new, spacious, and well kept. The activities are excellent. They have at least four activities every day and sometimes more. It's expensive, but they took her for the amount of months we could pay before we try for Medicaid. It's not the lowest, it's not the highest, it's somewhere in the middle."

"I have moved into The Alsatian Independent Living. Everyone has been very friendly. It's very clean. It's comparable to where I was before. I'm glad I chose this place. The food is very good. It's cheaper than where I was before, and I'm getting similar services."

"Chapel Hill Community is a big community. They have a lot of different levels. The building itself was nice except for the one room that we saw, which they said they were in the process of replacing. The one-room that we saw did not have a door in the bathroom; it had a curtain. We talked with the gentleman that was helping us, and he was very informative about how to get the things that we needed to do to get Harold up here. They have some things so far as activities and that. They had a coffee station, but they said they haven't been able to use it for a couple of years because of COVID. They said they're hoping to put that back up and I thought that would be a nice thing. Even if they had an aide run it for a couple of hours in the morning and a couple of hours in the afternoon for the residents to go and get coffee and between meals, but that wasn't up and functioning. The staff who took us through was nice. He was very good."

"The team at ManorCare Barberton works so very hard throughout the entire process. My Grandmother was there for several years until her peaceful passing. The staff always treated her like gold. The rooms seem to be very fitting for the population. My grandma really enjoyed bingo, the coffee and talk they would have each morning, and most importantly, I think she enjoyed the sense of family and community that seems to be fostered there. "

"I have my mom in Brewster Parke. She's been there since January. It's all one big place. They have assisted living and a nursing facility. I love it. It's very clean, it smells good, and they take really good care of Mom. They're right there for her. They have home-cooked meals. The food is very good. She's in the nursing facility because she's on oxygen and has a catheter. They keep her real busy. They have bingo. They have entertainment all the time and refreshments. There's always something going on to keep her busy. The staff is very efficient, and I've gone in there unannounced at different times, and I never find a problem. I'm real happy with everything. "
