"I had an in-person tour of Stone Creek Assisted Living & Memory Care. I like the fact that residents were easily accessible by staff, and the ratio of staff to residents was good. The whole facility looked clean and smelled good. The price was kind of between most of the other places. I think it was a little high, but not excessively. The presenter there was really good. She did a nice job. They have overall cleanliness. The fact that they were prepared, and gave us a copy of activities, menu, and the whole works. Not a scientific way of saying it, but we had some good vibes there."

"The staff at was very professional, and it was a very nice facility. The dining area was very clean. They had a beauty salon and they also had excursions for the people to go on field trips, which were very nice. Everybody I spoke to was very friendly and very helpful."

"Danbury in Tallmadge was quite a bit newer and more modern. It has more bells and whistles in the individual rooms. There was more to do in the common rooms, but most of it would probably not be something my mother would be interested in based on her age. The person who gave me the tour was very helpful and explained the different programs they had going on. She gave us quite a bit of information about pricing. The menus and the choices looked very good."

"Mulberry Gardens Memory Care was a beautiful facility. We visited that one. We were going to take my mom there. It was a half hour from my house, and the facility was gorgeous. The people were very nice. We liked everything about it. However, they wouldn't accept my mom as a resident. It was very pretty inside. We never really were able to get my mom there, but I was very impressed with the setting of the whole facility and its overall appearance. It just sets the tone of a very pleasant environment for my mom. The people were very pleasant as well. Their rooms were your average-sized room. It was nice because they have bathroom facilities in all the rooms (a full bathroom with a shower), and that was nice, too. We were looking for that. It looked beautiful, very clean, well-kept, painted, and not bruised walls or anything like that. It was very, very nice."

"my grandmother lives in this facility and it is a very nice place it is very clean and the aids are friendly there are lots of activities and games that the residents can take part in they are quick to respond if someone needs help with anything at any time of the day they even have their own award winning chef that makes all of the meals and it seems rare to find assisted living homes with very good food they have a lot of various rooms where the residents can sit and talk amongst each other or watch television and take part in other activities, another nice thing that they offer is physical therapy they can help any residents that have recently had any type of surgery or injury get their strength back and get back to what they're used to doing overall this is a great choice if you are looking for a nice assisted living establishment "

"We had to make an emergency placement for my dad after a fall in April 2017. We were so lucky to find Maplewood of Cuyahoga Falls. The staff at Maplewood, from the director to the maintenance staff, are wonderful. They treated my dad like he was a member of their own family and they were so supportive of all of us. The facility is beautiful, clean, and well designed. It allows for residents to move around the unit freely and safely. There are a variety of activities that residents can choose to participate in on a daily basis. But most important is the care they gave to my father. He was clean, well dressed, and loved each day. When he saw the faces of his favorite staff members his face would light up. Maplewood made the last 17 months of my dad's life as fulfilling as possible given his declining mental and physical status due to Alzheimer's Disease. Thank you for everything Maplewood. We will forever be grateful to you."

"Brookdale Montrose was very nice. The lady that took us around was very good. I just got off the phone with her. She had invited us to a barbeque there. They seemed interested in caring for someone who has dementia. "

"When it became necessary to consider placing my wife into a memory care facility, we carefully researched all of the many options available to us. We visited various places and solicited recommendations from those who had experience in this area. We chose Arden Courts of Bath based on our findings. My wife has been there now for 14 months and we are very pleased with the facility and the people who work there. She is receiving excellent care and seems content in her surroundings. That is all one can ask for."

"We picked Heritage Crossing because my sister and I did some research and this facility just seems like it would fit my mom's needs. The people were very helpful. The last place that she was in was going to charge my mom for an entire month's stay, but Heritage Crossing said that they would take care of it for us, so that was big. The people here are very friendly. So far, we're very pleased. We're able to go visit my mom outside for now while the weather is warm enough, and they're very cooperative about that. They're supposedly using all the measures possible to protect against the COVID-19 virus. She says that the food is good. So far, they have activities two days a week. My mom has been enjoying them and it got to a point where she's interested in the activities."

"Our Mother has been treated very well. She has been there for 15 months now and is very happy there. We have also been treated very well by all staff members. "

"The rooms were of good size. I liked the size of the rooms, although my sister's in a two-bedroom, so she would prefer that, I'm sure. The rooms I saw were pretty much empty, so it's kind of hard to see what they'd be like when they're full of items, but they were very pleasant and roomy, and I liked them all. I know I didn't see anything I didn't like. The staff was very nice, very friendly, had a lot of information, and answered all my questions. They spent a lot of time talking to me. It went well. They showed me the dining area, and they gave me a treat. It was landscaped very nicely, and everything was very clean inside."

"We looked at Hudson Grande Senior Living. They have little pods where people can gather and a dining room. The overall feel is clean and modern, and people seem happy. They go on trips, they do bingo, and movies and they have a hair salon and fitness center. The staff that I met were incredibly friendly."

"The Inn at Apple Ridge was new, small, and had a pretty good range of activities. The people were very welcoming and friendly. The salesperson who took us through was very good and very nice. They have games and things scattered throughout the building for people to play, table games, a large outdoor courtyard with some activities, beanbag tosses, and a putting green. It's a very nice place."

"The Inn at Belden Village over all is an excellent facility. My friend who has been there for several months is extremely happy. When she lived outside the facility she found herself bored easily. Now she is very busy with the activities that the facility offers as well as visiting with other people who live there. I have been there several times and had dinner with her. The food is excellent! The meals remind me of being on a cruise. You can eat something basic or order something that makes you feel like you are at a five star restaurant. Whether you order basic or something extravagant each meal never has disappointed me. As far as the staff is concerned they could use a bit of help. It is pretty obvious that they need to hire more people overall. They staff that is employed there are very courteous and most of the time have a smile. When you walk into the facility the atmosphere feels warm and cozy. Not sterile and depressing like so many others we toured. "
