"It was very nice. They gave me a tour and showed me a couple of the units. My dad is a veteran, and they gave me some information on how to apply for additional benefits. Everybody seemed real friendly and helpful. The rooms were a little small, which would be good for a single type person. They were one-bedroom units with a small living room, a small bedroom, and a good sized bathroom easily accessible for handicap, like a walk-in type shower. The dining room was a big open area. They had shopping trips. With security, you had to be let in."

"Omg can't say enough about their loving caring director and staff! They exemplify what you would want for your loved one!!! The facility is lovely and the spirit lively!!! It is definitely the next best thing to "home"!!! "

"Mulberry Gardens Memory Care was a beautiful facility. We visited that one. We were going to take my mom there. It was a half hour from my house, and the facility was gorgeous. The people were very nice. We liked everything about it. However, they wouldn't accept my mom as a resident. It was very pretty inside. We never really were able to get my mom there, but I was very impressed with the setting of the whole facility and its overall appearance. It just sets the tone of a very pleasant environment for my mom. The people were very pleasant as well. Their rooms were your average-sized room. It was nice because they have bathroom facilities in all the rooms (a full bathroom with a shower), and that was nice, too. We were looking for that. It looked beautiful, very clean, well-kept, painted, and not bruised walls or anything like that. It was very, very nice."

"The staff at Brookdale Montrose is very nice, and the price was better for my mother in comparison to other independent living facilities in the area. They are undergoing some changes and they had a pretty big turnover, but my mother seems to be happy there. She likes the residents, and she found her own group of people to hang out with. They have outings on the bus, they play bingo, and there are exercise classes. They do her laundry and housekeeping, and the facility as a whole is upkept and clean. I've never heard her complain about anything."

"I went to Kentridge Senior Living on Friday. They wanted to know about my sister and what she was looking for, so we spent a lot of time talking, and then she took me on a tour of the different sites. They have one bedroom, and studio and she showed me several of the apartments that happened to be empty. She showed me the exercise room and the dining room. They said the people can eat anytime, there are no certain hours, they can open all the time for food if someone is hungry. When I went in, there were some people in a nice area right outside the entrance. They were just sitting and talking. When I got home yesterday, Amy from Kentridge had left me just a small gift on my front door, thanking me for being there and talking, which is very nice of her. She mentioned she had mailed a brochure to my sister already."

"I toured the Alzheimer's unit of Arden Courts. It was really nice and it had individual rooms. I liked that when I came in there, everybody was sitting at a table playing music and singing old songs. They only put the TV on channels that showed shows in the 50's and 60's so that the patients would maybe remember them. They had a large gathering room. The halls were called neighborhoods. Each of them had a kitchen, with different things to eat. I really liked it. Everybody seemed to know everybody. The caretakers knew the patients by name. They would talk to them. Everybody seemed happy. It's a place where I would go to without any qualms. "

"We picked Heritage Crossing because my sister and I did some research and this facility just seems like it would fit my mom's needs. The people were very helpful. The last place that she was in was going to charge my mom for an entire month's stay, but Heritage Crossing said that they would take care of it for us, so that was big. The people here are very friendly. So far, we're very pleased. We're able to go visit my mom outside for now while the weather is warm enough, and they're very cooperative about that. They're supposedly using all the measures possible to protect against the COVID-19 virus. She says that the food is good. So far, they have activities two days a week. My mom has been enjoying them and it got to a point where she's interested in the activities."

"My dad moved into Maplewood at Cuyahoga Falls. I like that they're clean, and they're good during the week when the bosses are there. On the weekends, I requested that they clean my father's bed. It's not a big deal, but they never brought him a blanket, so he was sleeping under a sheet and had been sick. Sometimes they don't do what they say they're going to do. Like he was supposed to get, they say, some special care, like reading, and they were going to give him audio phones, things like that, and that didn't happen. So, some promises weren't kept. The day and weekday staff are great. Weekend staff, I understand they're short on help because it's just not as great. They do have an outdoor space, and they have activities. I like that they had their own private bathroom, on one floor, and the way the dining room was set up. I also liked that."

"The rooms were of good size. I liked the size of the rooms, although my sister's in a two-bedroom, so she would prefer that, I'm sure. The rooms I saw were pretty much empty, so it's kind of hard to see what they'd be like when they're full of items, but they were very pleasant and roomy, and I liked them all. I know I didn't see anything I didn't like. The staff was very nice, very friendly, had a lot of information, and answered all my questions. They spent a lot of time talking to me. It went well. They showed me the dining area, and they gave me a treat. It was landscaped very nicely, and everything was very clean inside."

"My mother, at the age of 91, was transferred to The Hudson Grand after residing in another assisted living facility for nine years. It was a quick transition which could have been very stressful but with the help of the marketing staff and facilities director it all came together in 24 hrs. The care she received by all the staff, from nurses, Ashley and Mandy; to care partners (too many to name); to Ashley in activities , and to Sam in the kitchen all exceeded our expectations. Six weeks ago my mom passed away with the staff there to say goodby. Mom loved being there and they loved having her there because they love what they do and who they serve. There is no doubt in my mind that there is no better place than "The Hudson Grande"!!!"

"Vista Veranda was nice, clean, and modernized. The people were friendly and nice. The social worker works with you. They had a nice rehabilitation center. I had a problem with communication because I live two hours away and I would email them information and it'd take a couple of days for me to get my emails back, but overall, the staff was nice. I like their floor plan, the cleanliness, and everything."

"Rose Lane is out in the country. They have two little ponds with ducks and swans where people can also go fishing. It is very clean. There is not a speck of dust everywhere. They are probably one of the cleanest places that I have ever been to. They have a beauty shop, street cafeteria and general store. They have little patios everywhere for people to go outside whenever they want. They have fireplaces everywhere. At Christmas time, they take them out to see the lights. They do so much with them. The staff is excellent. They have physical therapists. My mom is there now and she has a private room. They cater to the residents' family. It is a really nice place. "

"My father lived at The Landing of Canton before. The staff was very good. The food is OK. The rooms are clean although a little small. They have different activities like exercise classes. The facility seemed secured. "

"We visited The Inn at Belden Village. It was very well-kept, and it has a good reputation. My mother had been there before with a group that she was in; they would meet there, so she was familiar with it. Her room is adequate; it's just average from what I've seen at these places. The staff people are all nice. They have very good food. She likes it very much. "
