"My grandmother was in Amherst Meadows. It was fine. We weren't allowed in and we weren't able to see the amenities inside, but we were allowed to talk to her through the window. It was more hospital-like because it was a rehabilitation and skilled nursing place. The staff seemed very nice, and they were welcoming our questions. They did a good job of communicating when my dad and my aunt had questions. I don't have anything negative to say about them. I think my grandmother was comfortable. Her place was already furnished, so she was using their stuff, and I think it was good."

"The Laurels in Massillon, Ohio was a pretty nice facility. The staff was very good with my grandma and very kind to all of us that visited. My grandma had a hip replacement due to bone cancer. She was sent there for rehabilitation. They made her feel like she important and they really cared about helping her get better. She ended up getting out of there earlier than expected. The physical therapists were great at keeping us all updated on what was going on with her condition. They also were very helpful by showing up how to help her once she got home. They showed us how to do the exercises with her as well so we knew how to help her with them. The only complaint I have would be that they needed to separate the nursing home side better from the rehab side. There was a few occassions were an elderly lady came into my grandma's room looking for her sister. There obviously wasn't anyone watching the people who really needed a eye on them. "

"They have a lot of great stuff I could't get my mother to like a car show, yard sales, and the circus. The nursing care is excellent, and we have been very happy. The staff is easy to communicate with. "

"My father-in-law was at Green Village. They provided excellent care. His room was fantastic, very clean, and very neat. His therapy was excellent. They offered a lot of different things. The food was very good and very fresh. The staff was fantastic. Everything was topnotch. It's a new facility, it's in great shape, and every staff member was fantastic. It's a great facility. They have a beautiful outdoor area."

"beautiful clean facilities, good food served in a dining room setting available for those that want to eat outside their room. daily physical and occupation therapy available when needed. large common room with wide screen tv, bingo, manicures, red hat socity for women, mens groups also available. happy hour weekly for the thirty and a nice team of nurses and aides to care you. each room has private phone, tv, clock and curtain for privacy, also bathroom and closets in the rooms pleasantly decorated. I would go back if needed, I spent 6 months and I felt very comfortable there. "

"My mother is right now residing in Pebble Creek for post-surgical rehab, and I have been happy with them. The social workers are really nice to work with, the nurses are all good to my mom, and they have a really good chef. They are giving her physical therapy and occupational therapy. There is live entertainment down there and activities, so she is receiving good care in this particular facility. I would recommend it to someone in this area. There are semi-private and private rooms available. It is very accommodating, and they are meeting all her needs. She is there temporarily, but they have permanent residents there. They also have a short term wing for people who are there for a few weeks to a month, and they are treating them well while they are there. They need a little more communication with the family members of the patients, but I am very close with the nurses in my mom’s case. It is a nice facility. It was there for 3 hours yesterday, and we went to a music concert at about 2:30 in the afternoon. I am a musician myself, so I really appreciated that. They provide nice activities. "

"My mom went to Aultman Woodlawn Inpatient Rehab. They were amazing. She had a lot of therapies there. For her having just broken her leg, she would get very tired but the therapy was fantastic. They had lots of windows. The rooms were adequate. They had a closet space large enough for visitors and for the patient. There was a person who came and cleaned the patient's room every day. The hallways were always clean. The therapy was way over and beyond what you would expect. It's not only therapy with my mom, but they trained my sister and me how to help her, how to get her in and out of a car, and how to help her when she got home."

"My Grandfather has been a resident at this facility for a little over a year now. When my family first toured this facility we were impressed with the cleanliness and the size of the residents rooms. Since my Grandfather has become a resident we've been impressed with his quality of care. And with how the employees there treat him as family. And they try to keep him involved in activities at the facility as well as taking him on outings outside of the facility. The meals prepared for the residents are restaurant quality and taste good enough to please my picky Grandfather. We are very pleased with the care that he receives. "

"My mom was there for over six years until she passed away in February 2012. Overall the first 5 years were really great with only an occasional minor issue, the last year of her life there had been a change in management and a lot of staff turnover and it was clear that there wasn't much of a connection between staff and residents or family members. It was lass like a family and more business-like. "

"I feel that overall this facility does a great job with the patients. My husbands grandmother has dementia and is a very difficult patient. They always respect her and take wonderful care of her. The staff seems very caring with her and she is always clean and tidy when we have come to visit. The facility is nice, and in the section that she is in, you actually have to be swiped in with a card which I feel is very important considering that many of the Alzheimer patients do get violet or could wander outside. Meals also seem well balanced. They take most of the residents into the dining area and make a nice experience out of it. The only thing that kind of bothered me when I visit is that many patients seemed to be waiting on aids. They had the residents lined up in the hall waiting to be wheeled back to their rooms. I understand wanting to spend time getting each patient situated in their rooms but some waited for quite a long time. They could at least wheel everyone back and then go back to each room. I feel St. Luke's has earned a 4 Star rating and is meeting the proper standards of care. "

"My sister was in Legends completing re-hab following an extended hospital stay. The staff there was wonderful and my sister said they were the best she's ever had. I want to thank those who cared for her and got her strong enough to go home. I especially would like to thank Pat, who always made sure I was connected to the correct staff nurse whenever I called. The social worker, Carmelita, who provided my family and I updates on our sister whenever one of us called. The nursing staff, Joya, Julia, Kim, and Loretta. "I'm overall happy with the care that this facility has offered my mother. I've had minor issues but nothing that impacted her health. She is treated with respect and is well cared for. They do a very good job making sure she is comfortable and keeping up with her health and wellness. They always try to include her in activities and make her feel welcome. They also keep family members well informed of any issues or concerns that they may have. It isn't the same as caring for her myself. But it's the next best thing. They do a wonderful job."
