"It was very nice. They gave me a tour and showed me a couple of the units. My dad is a veteran, and they gave me some information on how to apply for additional benefits. Everybody seemed real friendly and helpful. The rooms were a little small, which would be good for a single type person. They were one-bedroom units with a small living room, a small bedroom, and a good sized bathroom easily accessible for handicap, like a walk-in type shower. The dining room was a big open area. They had shopping trips. With security, you had to be let in."

"I had an in-person tour of Stone Creek Assisted Living & Memory Care. I like the fact that residents were easily accessible by staff, and the ratio of staff to residents was good. The whole facility looked clean and smelled good. The price was kind of between most of the other places. I think it was a little high, but not excessively. The presenter there was really good. She did a nice job. They have overall cleanliness. The fact that they were prepared, and gave us a copy of activities, menu, and the whole works. Not a scientific way of saying it, but we had some good vibes there."

"Danbury was pretty and new, but there wasn't a lot of diversity, which is important. The location is in a populated area. That community is perfect for elderly couples who don't want to live in their homes anymore. They have a bar and all the amenities, so you don't have to leave the place to enjoy yourself. There's a room to play games and cards and all those things. Everything is brand-new and state-of-the-art."

"Our visit at Danbury Woods in Cuyahoga Falls was very good. They had a good social thing, a very good food program, and nice rooms. It was a much smaller facility, so there wasn't a lot of extra room for activities. The person who assisted perspective customers was exceptionally well-informed. We were favorably impressed with the facility and the few people we did speak with."

"Mulberry Gardens Memory Care was a beautiful facility. We visited that one. We were going to take my mom there. It was a half hour from my house, and the facility was gorgeous. The people were very nice. We liked everything about it. However, they wouldn't accept my mom as a resident. It was very pretty inside. We never really were able to get my mom there, but I was very impressed with the setting of the whole facility and its overall appearance. It just sets the tone of a very pleasant environment for my mom. The people were very pleasant as well. Their rooms were your average-sized room. It was nice because they have bathroom facilities in all the rooms (a full bathroom with a shower), and that was nice, too. We were looking for that. It looked beautiful, very clean, well-kept, painted, and not bruised walls or anything like that. It was very, very nice."

"Everyone was incredibly kind. It felt more like visiting a luxurious hotel rather than an assisted living facility. The caretakers treated each other and the residents like family. The facility provided tons of activities for the residents and their families. It was a great experience. "

"We visited Maplewood at Cuyahoga Falls. They had a very nice respite program that we might do. It's a new place, so it's very clean and lovely. The staff was very accommodating. In the dining area, there were four at a table. It was spread out for Covid, but it was fine. They had a barbershop, a beauty shop, and you can drink coffee all day. It's very nice, but with this Covid, everything is restricted."

"It is very nice and I would recommend it. I didn't think I was going to be able to stay here that's why I was searching around. The rooms are spacious and the staff is friendly. They have plenty of activities. "

"My mother has been placed at Arden Courts of Bath. It is an assisted living for Alzheimer's patients. I am very pleased with it. It is very clean and nice, and everyone is very nice to us. They do exercising, music, bingo, and popcorn Wednesdays. They have a variety of activities; I'm very pleased with that. Mom has a private room with a half bath. It is suitable and homey, but I wouldn't say it is spacious. I haven't had a lot of experience with them yet, but everything has been fine so far. "

"We picked Heritage Crossing because my sister and I did some research and this facility just seems like it would fit my mom's needs. The people were very helpful. The last place that she was in was going to charge my mom for an entire month's stay, but Heritage Crossing said that they would take care of it for us, so that was big. The people here are very friendly. So far, we're very pleased. We're able to go visit my mom outside for now while the weather is warm enough, and they're very cooperative about that. They're supposedly using all the measures possible to protect against the COVID-19 virus. She says that the food is good. So far, they have activities two days a week. My mom has been enjoying them and it got to a point where she's interested in the activities."

"The rooms were of good size. I liked the size of the rooms, although my sister's in a two-bedroom, so she would prefer that, I'm sure. The rooms I saw were pretty much empty, so it's kind of hard to see what they'd be like when they're full of items, but they were very pleasant and roomy, and I liked them all. I know I didn't see anything I didn't like. The staff was very nice, very friendly, had a lot of information, and answered all my questions. They spent a lot of time talking to me. It went well. They showed me the dining area, and they gave me a treat. It was landscaped very nicely, and everything was very clean inside."

"Vista Veranda was nice, clean, and modernized. The people were friendly and nice. The social worker works with you. They had a nice rehabilitation center. I had a problem with communication because I live two hours away and I would email them information and it'd take a couple of days for me to get my emails back, but overall, the staff was nice. I like their floor plan, the cleanliness, and everything."

"I put my mother into Hudson Grande Senior Living. So far, I'm very pleased. My mother has been attending activities, and the food looks delicious. I've actually eaten there twice, and it is very good. My mom is getting the help she needs. The rooms are fine. For activities, they take them to movies. They make sure they get out of their rooms, and they show an appropriate older movie for the residents. They also have guessing games where they have to finish the end of the name of a movie show. They all play along on that, and they seem to enjoy it. They also have a thing where you would toss these large donut-shaped things over, and they were clapping for each other. Everybody was enjoying it. They take them to happy hour that doesn't involve alcohol unless they want that. The staff are all very friendly. They call me if there's a question about something. They're still getting to know my mother medically."

"The Inn at Apple Ridge is excellent, clean, the staff is very cordial and expert, and the top management is very hands-on. They're there to listen to you. I couldn't ask for any better expenditure of the high cost of assisted living. It's brand new, so you have the opportunity to be the first one if you get in now. The food is all very nutritious, non-seasoned, and edible. My wife likes the food. The activities are well conducted and well attended with a lot of fun. It's a pleasure to go there."
