"I recently visited a friend of our family at your Assisted Living and wish to report that my visit was so much more than I expected it to be. I was greeted at the front entrance, the ambiance and smell were inviting, the building was elegant and clean, staff were friendly and seemed to really take ownership in their responsibilities. My friend Mark is content and even takes on a daily role of delivering the mail newspapers to all of the people there. I was invited to join him for lunch and even join into the Men's Group that was wrapping up as I arrived. When home is no longer a safe option, it's nice to see that there are great local accommodations to help carry on and enrich the lives of our seniors. Thank You for a pleasant experience. "

"Summit Corners has very good customer service. They also have very good facilities that are kept up well. It's a beautiful setting/environment. There was one room, and I took some pictures of it. It's not too bad. It's a little bit small, but it has a big closet. It's private, so I like that my mom would not have to have a roommate, and that's a plus. It's more like a home instead of like a regular nursing home. I didn't try out the food, but the staff member who gave me the tour says it's very good. It sounded good from the menu, and the staff says she eats it herself."

"We have chosen to go to Mulberry Gardens Memory Care. I like the fact that it is a self-contained building that deals with nothing but memory care. It's beautiful and local. It's very convenient to me, just 10 minutes away. I've heard good reviews from other people, and I had a walk-through and interview with them. The staff was very friendly, very helpful, and open to any questions that I had. They even made some suggestions for me. It was very clean, very open, and well taken care of."

"Danbury Woods is a very clean facility. It is a small facility and this allows the residents and the care givers to know each other a bit better. The residents are well fed and cared for. The rooms are a nice size and easy to move around in. The nursing staff does a nice job of caring for the residents and they are very personable and caring. The members of the staff I have contact with are very approachable and easy to talk to. The residents seem to enjoy the entertainment that is brought in, the family events,shopping trips, the themed parties and a wide variety of activities. My mother has been there for almost 10 years and enjoys being there."

"Sunrise of Cuyahoga Falls was very nice. The staff was very friendly, very accommodating, and very knowledgeable. The rooms were very nice and clean. I thought the place was excellent. The residents looked very happy. "

"One thing I liked about Kentridge Senior Living is their restaurant style dining where you can eat at different times of the day. They're not all just set times. I really prefer that style of eating because not all of us get up at 8:00 a.m. I like to stay up late and get up a little later. I met the lady in charge of the memory care area and she seemed very nice, and the lady that showed us around was very good. All of the people we met were very good and accommodating. The staff was excellent, very helpful, and answered any questions that we had. The chef brought out a cheese and cracker kind of tray. We didn't really eat their food there, but it looked like they make an effort to make the food accordingly. They make the meals at your time whenever you want to eat it. You can eat at any time, and that seemed to go along with what I was interested in. The facility seemed adequate. They had to make a few changes trying to go along with COVID. It was just a little hard to get into the place because you don't go into the front. The only place they could set up for all the temperature taking and signing in and all that stuff was around the back, but that was fine. They just had to adjust things around for that, but other than that, it was fine. They had good accommodations there. It seems good for the memory care and the assisted living. The chef seemed quite willing to make anything, he was talking about some of the food, he seemed like a very interesting guy, and he really seemed to like his job. I think he probably does a very good job at the meals, too."

"Room is sunny and clean. Staff is very friendly. I am greeted by name. Facility is welcoming. The days are filled with activities and staff is very interactive with the residents."

"The Inn at Apple Ridge was stunning. It had some really cool features for seniors. They not only have a large fish tank, but they also had an aviary in there. It's something really cool for them to look at and interact with. They had a beautiful waterfall in their courtyard that is different from anything I've seen anywhere. The place itself was incredibly clean, very nice, very comfortable, and very homey. It's a beautiful building, plus it's on top of the mountain. It's so high up there that you see the entire area around you. It's beautiful, and the people were very pleasant. We did both assisted living and memory care. We had done the assisted living originally, but since my mother-in-law took that fall a lot of things had changed right away. If she needed more help, she could also go to the other side, back and forth between the two. The staff was very interactive. Everybody worked together really well while we were there. It was beautiful. The food smelled good, and it looked good. They offered just about anything you'd want."

"I toured Heritage Crossing. It's going to fit my needs very well for my mother. The rooms were nice. The pricing was fair from what I'm seeing with the market. I liked it because there were more individual residents versus couples, which made it easier for my mother. In the lobby, everything is very welcoming. I like that they have very nice gathering areas all through the facility, so family and friends can always go off into a private area with beautiful furniture or fireplaces. They have a theater room. The activities that they have are fabulous. I met the chef. The restaurant looks wonderful. There's enough to pick some off the menu without being too much. I did look at the menu. It looks like a bistro-type menu. It was very nice, chicken waffles and that kind of stuff. I think the chef makes maybe one special for the night. Then you have a couple of other choices if you want. They had a trick-or-treat there yesterday from the kids' school. Kids in the area could come through. The residents made Halloween hats and cast and costumes and we're excited to have the kids there. I was impressed, like sitting in the lobby while I was waiting to talk to the medical director about my mother's situation. The housekeeper team, they're joking around with the managers. I love that. I just thought that they all seemed to enjoy each other's company."

"My wife is in Arden Courts right now. They're excellent and a specialist in Alzheimer's. They keep the residents very involved and active daily. They offer the latest updates on good news, games, and music. They vary their interactions with the residents. I'm very satisfied."

"Vitalia Senior Residences of Solon is a brand new place. It had plenty of activities for the seniors to partake in. They had a swimming pool, chair yoga, chair volleyball, and other things. They also had fitness classes, games, a library, and a movie room with discussions going on. It seemed like a very nice place. The apartments were pretty nice. They had studio apartments as well as one and two-bedroom apartments. You have to bring your furniture. The lady that was giving the tour was very knowledgeable and very friendly. She engaged in conversation with my wife's cousin and got to know all about her and everything. There were a couple of residents who came up and said hi, too. We saw the menu and it seemed like there was good food in the cafeteria."

"Brookdale Montrose was a very, very beautiful facility, but when I asked the question of what would happen if my sister's funds ran out/if she outlived her funds, I was told that they would help us find a place for her. That's not what I wanted to hear. The apartments were very nice. They had a lot of common areas with tables and chairs where people could congregate and do puzzles or whatever. They have several of those areas. Their dining area was nice. The facilities seemed very clean."
