I was at Alden Courts of Des Plaines for rehab, and the service was good. The physical therapy was excellent. The care was good, and food was reasonably good. It was well-maintained and clean. The service was good, and they responded well. I can't say anything harsh about them.

My sister was at Alden Des Plaines Rehab & Hc. Their rehab was stellar. They had very good therapists there. They're very caring, very involved with the patients, and very educated. We felt that they knew what they were doing. However, their staff didn't come. So when you need a lot of help, you won't get it there. They need to increase the number of staff. Before my sister left, the food was all served on Styrofoam dishes, and it was often cold. It was lacking. In terms of facilities, the rehab was nice. The place was well run, it was cared for and it was clean. The gym was good. There was a hairdresser there. With regards to location, it's very close to the hospital and there are restaurants. It was much more centrally located.
