I toured Rising Star Personal Care Home. It was cold, dark, and depressing. All the residents were wrapped up in blankets or sweaters. The employees had on sweaters and stuff. It was clean. I didn't see anything dirty about it. I wouldn't put my mom there. You only visit them between 9 am to 5 pm. If you want it another time at night, you have to have special permission, and they were the cheapest. The staff was competent, knew what they were saying, explained everything well, and were friendly. The room size was reasonable.

My father is at Rising Star Personal Care Home. The amenities that I saw were great. I saw a large rec room and a public bathroom. They're nice and clean. My father's apartment is suitable for him. As for activities, when my father was checking in, the residents were playing bingo. The staff members are very friendly and knowledgeable.
