"We moved my mother to Oaks at Maple Ridge. We like the location and the facility itself. We like the staff that we met there. We liked everything about it. We had a meal there and it was delicious. They had pot roast, potatoes, and carrots. We had desserts, rolls, and drinks. With regard to activities, they do just about everything. They have all different types of bingo, games, exercise, and arts."

"I toured Legacy Reserve at Old Town. What I liked best was the very caring people who worked there and spoke to me. The staff was wonderful. She knew exactly what I felt. The facility was very clean and the structure was new. It's very good. Everybody was friendly. The room sizes were very accommodating to the needs of the people."

"Mountainside is the perfect place for mom. The staff are very caring, the food is good and they do activities to keep the residents entertained. "

"My dad will probably move into Monarch Estates around Dec 31st. We went there, it was good, and everything was great. The dining area is nice, they're big, it's in a room. The room is like an apartment, you have a kitchen, bedroom, the living room where you're gonna be sitting, they've got cable that comes with it, it's a lot, so it was nice. It was clean. Everything is included, his lunch, and snacks. I only talked to the manager, but when I come in it's a very good environment, it's very warm, it has a good vibe about it. Everybody was speaking nicely. They got all the veterans there, so I know that he would like it. They got a place where you could wash, they get to wash, laundry and stuff, barber shop, they do the hair, nails and feet, pedicure, you get all of it done."

"We liked our tour of Magnolia Manor of Columbus skilled nursing level. The place was really clean and the people that we talked to were very knowledgeable, very kind, and took the time to explain things. They helped us understand the process and also made us understand that my husband might not be accepted because they have a way of not overloading themselves with patients that need extreme help, and they had a limit on the number of patients that they can take because they want to make sure that they are giving the patients the right care. But they were extremely helpful in helping us navigate these waters, and in telling us what they offer and could offer. We were able to go into the cafeteria. It was extremely clean, the food looked nutritious, and healthy. We talked to a couple of patients who were out in the hallway in wheelchairs, and asked them about their thoughts of the place and how they like it. One gentleman said it's OK there, and it's much better there than to be out in the street, and he said that the food was really good. The staff said that they do exercises, they have different kinds of entertainment for them to come in, and yesterday they had a Mardi Gras party for them. They also have accommodations to take them outside."

"Very professional staff! The center has provided excellent care to my mother. They have a variety of activities for the clients to do. My mother really enjoys coming. They frequently have guests from the community visit the center. There's arts and crafts, music, pet therapy, bingo and much more. The staff is great about communicating with me about my mother's care. Highly recommend. By far the best facility in Columbus."

"The facility is clean inside and out and free of garbage. The staff seems very well trained and sincerely cares about their patients. Seems like a great team to care for family members in need of rehab and assistance."

"This facility was a little questioning. #1 I went and looked up reviews before I went to visit and what I found wasnt pleasing. The rating scale is for 1 to 5. 1 being the worst and 5 being the best. There wasnt a 4 or a 5. Every rating ranged from 1-3 and that was enough to raise my eyebrow. I decided to go take a look anyway and the staff was a little unpleasant and when I asked questions, no one seemed to know the answers. The facility itself was very clean and presentable though. Maybe this place is getting the ratings based on how they were treated when they went because I surely didnt feel welcomed. "

"Hamilton House Nursing and rehabilitation Center appeared to be nice as far as we could tell. The rooms and apartments were fairly nice. The dining facility was pretty pleasant. The staff seemed to be nice. They had bingo, karaoke nights, card games, and crafts. "

"We toured Covenant Woods. It was nice. The lady took me into the two-bedroom and it was roomy, it had a balcony. They also had an elevator. They had a pool and they did different activities at different times. If you wanted your family to come out, maybe for a little birthday or get-together, there is a room for it. The staff was nice and patient. When I told her about the information of my income, she didn't look down on me or cut the interview. She still took me to the place, and she still explained everything to me in detail. She told me about the kitchen because I have to keep up a different diet; a no salt, no season kind of diet. She said that I had to let them know what I could and what I couldn't eat. They have a library in there. They also participate in parades and they have a van. They go to different places and the staff said they do get out of the building and they participate in a lot of stuff like go shopping. It sounds good, but it was just out of my range."
