Everleigh Duluth

I think I'm going to like Everleigh Duluth very much. They're in the middle of downtown Duluth, so it's not sitting out in the middle of nowhere like the other place was. They have all of the amenities, plus some extras. I truly think that I'm going to be happy with this place. I think I'm going to enjoy living here. It's much homier. It is more conducive to what I'm accustomed to. It is like home. It's carpeted. They have loveseats, and if you get tired, you can sit down. It's what I'm accustomed to. The staff has been very helpful. I have an electric wheelchair and a walker, and that's the only way I can get around, but they have helped me cut down boxes and cut them up for me. They've been of help, and I appreciate that. The place is clean. It is fine. The only thing is that if they could replace the carpet in the bedroom, I would be very happy. I think they cleaned it, but some areas feel hard under your feet. That's the only complaint I have. They have many activities that incorporate as much as you want to do. I have no complaints about that because they have a variety of activities here. Right now, I haven't started paying full rent, but it's still going to be a little less than I was paying at the other place. I got a great offer moving in. I got two months rent-free. I only have to pay for the amenities. I went from a two-bedroom to a one-bedroom, but to me, the money for what you get over here is reasonable.

I'm at Everleigh Duluth. I love it here. It's a nice place. I clean my own apartment. We have a carnival right now. We have a fair and we throw darts and hit the balloons. We have good amenities. The building is brand new and it's clean. I am a disabled veteran with mobility problems and people always try to help me. They open the door for you. I used to be very depressed and isolated, but when I moved here, I met people that love me and I call my neighbor, my big sister from another mother. The staff is very caring and very professional. They tell you, "That is your apartment. Make it like your home." I like it. We do our own meals, but they offer continental breakfast Monday through Friday. The food is delicious, and sometimes we have waffles and different stuff. I've got a very spacious kitchen with a refrigerator and the cabinets got light under. It has a washer and dryer in there. I have a bath and a half because I have to use a chair over my commode, and I have a balcony. We have a swimming pool, a weight room,and all that stuff. It's nice.
