"I toured The Crossings at Riverview. We spent more time in their assisted living. What stood out was the brightness of the place. It's a very bright home. And the staff was friendly. It looked clean and very welcoming. The rooms were spacious and homey. They were very friendly and welcoming. The staff who gave the tour was professional and friendly, too. We played bingo with the residents, and they seemed fine and happy. We like it. And it's close to our house, so we like that, too."

"I was very impressed with The Meridian at Brandon. I thought that the place was great. I had a nice tour. I was very impressed with the facility, and I was very impressed with the way that facility was kept, and with the people who gave me the tour and told me all about it. It's bright, airy, and clean. They take good care of the building. I like the design of it, too. There are a lot of very big open, airy spaces. There's a lot of little nooks and crannies where people can sit. They have cool things like fireplaces and a place where you can walk your dog. They have good security, too. It's independent living, assisted living, and then they have a memory care unit. And I was very impressed with the way that they did that, because a lot of people go in knowing they're going to graduate from independent living to assisted living, and then actually wind up needing full 24-hour supervision. I only met three staff, and they were all delightful. The food looked fresh and well prepared. Their menu has a lot of variety and the people who live there have choices. If they don't want the main thing on the menu, they can get choices. They can also get service if they miss a meal like they come down and it's too late for breakfast like they overslept or whatever, or if they want a late lunch. The dining room accommodates people, which I thought was good."

"I love The Canopy at Walden Woods. It was beautiful, bigger, and brighter. You are welcomed when you get there. The staff was excellent. They were very informative, and they showed me several different rooms. They have different dining aspects. They have transportation services to different places. They seem to have more amenities. They play cards. They introduced me to a couple of people who do cards. The residents seemed to really like the place. The place was clean. They have a beauty and barber shop, an enclosed lanai, and a garden. Everything seemed in order."

"I am pleased that my mil is no longer there. However, it is to the credit of the staff there that her meds,were regulated and,she improved so much, she was able to go to a more independent facility. Thats,a good thing. The staff is very busy there, the,needs of the patients there are incredible. All the staff was kind and caring. The director, Sangeeta went above and beyond when my mil did not want to eat. She was,willing to go get her fast food if she wanted! It's not in the best locale but they were all very sweet people, as far as staff. "

"Promise Pointe Senior Living was a good place. They had the dining, the housekeeping, and everything, but they were a little expensive. I liked the apartment they showed me. They had good activities. It was really nice."

"Jenlee Living Facility LLC was very nice and clean. I felt like it would be a good place for my mom because it has a very nice view from the patio. It's a large screened patio, and it's on the water, so it's a very nice environment. The owner was excellent, very easy to communicate with, knowledgeable, experienced, and thorough. I reviewed their menu for the month, but I did not have any food. The facility was very good. It was a new construction."

"I think The Estate At Hyde Park is a first-class place. The staff who accommodated me was very good. Everything about it was first class. Residents were doing a little activity, but I didn't pay attention to it. The room was very nice."

"My friend will move into Brookdale Bayshore. First of all, the view is beautiful and every single room has a view of the bay. It's got a great outdoor pool, kitchen, and a dock that even provides fishing poles. Everybody was nice. It's a beautiful facility, and everything seemed just first-class. Anna's great, and she'd been my point of contact throughout the whole process. She's been readily available and has answered all my questions. They invited us to have lunch one day. We sat in on lunch, and they provided a glass of wine for us, and that was great. The menu options I saw looked extensive, and all of them sounded good. They do have a beauty salon. They have the library. They have a whole lot of different functions going on. They have live music and happy hours. They have outings where they go to different places."

"Having been through this process with other relatives, I was not looking forward to it again. However, Angels did an incredible job helping me. Dayna from the beginning and Angela throughout. They were amazing. There are clearly no words to describe how amazing Jennifer. She listened to me on my bad days after my father took his life, she laughed with me on my good days, and the main think was that she took care of the "little things" that my mother needed when others were too busy. She is truly an angel and I will NEVER forget her. "

"I moved into SeaCoast at Uptown Oaks. It's like an apartment. I have my own bathroom, that when I need to go, I don't have to wait in line. I have my own little kitchenette, that if I want to make coffee at 3:00, 4:00, 5:00 in the morning, I can do it. If in the middle of night I'm hungry, I can open up a can of soup, a can of spaghetti, warm it up in a microwave. The room is very large. It's like a studio apartment. They said they have three meals a day. The staff is really nice, hospitable, and helpful. Every time they see you it's always a good morning. They're very cheery. They don't have an attitude. The place is immaculate, and if you need something fixed, you have housekeeping, you have the maintenance man. You just go downstairs to the receptionist, you put in a work order, and they come and fix whatever problems you've got."

"We toured Colonial Assisted Living at Tampa. It was very clean and pretty, but the rooms were a little bit small for two people. I have a sewing machine that I want to use, so I need a bigger room, and I have a double bed that I want to take. I like that they had a piano, their facilities are very good and the family room was nice."

"We toured Best Care Senior Living at Saint Joseph for my sister-in-law. It was a nice facility. They took us through everything. The rooms and everything were nice. The staff was nice. It was a really clean place. It was a secure place. You didn't have to worry about the residents walking out of the facility because everything was well secured and locked, and they had cameras installed. It was a really beautiful place. They do a lot of craft projects. They do a lot of activities as far as getting the residents out and gathering them together."

"I toured Sun City Senior Living. It was very good; it was just that I don't need assisted living. It was also more expensive than independent living. The staff members were very helpful, very nice, and very pleasant. They gave me lunch while I was there; they were very nice. It was a very pleasant place. I liked it very much, but I'm not ready for that yet. I tried the food, and it was very good. My husband used to be a chef, and he was very good. Their food is better than my cooking but not as good as his. The rooms are beautiful. They're little apartments, and they're very nice. I am very pleased with the whole facility."
