"Central Tampa Assisted Living was nice. The apartment was clean, nice, and pretty standard. The dining area was pretty busy at the time, but clean for normal dining hours. They had a garden area, a lady comes in for bible study, and they take the residents out."

"My sister has moved into Seacoast at Uptown Oaks. The appearance is very clean. The people are very friendly. The apartment is big. The staff is very friendly and very helpful. I saw residents going to a game room and I saw a group of them going to the dining room. Some of the residents were doing puzzles, some were in their rooms listening to the radios and TVs. A lot of them were outside. Today, she had broccoli. She had a well balanced meal today and they usually do. The food looks good to me, but she's very particular. She doesn't do Mexican food and they had tacos one Friday and she doesn't do that. She doesn't do sandwiches and they may have that on a Saturday. She's very particular about things, and they give her options."

"I researched many assisted living facilities for my mother, and decided on Beach House for a variety of reasons. The facility was wonderful, the absolute perfect size, and in a quiet neighborhood in Jax Beach. The staff has been nothing but fantastic, always welcoming and accommodating. The other residents have been so friendly and kind, and have been an absolute blessing to my mother. It was simply the best decision we could have made for my mother, and would recommend Beach House to anyone."

"The Meridian at Brandon was excellent. It's brand new, it just started. I don't know about the food, but other than that, the service, the amenities, and everything are excellent. I toured the assisted living. The staff was very personable, they appear to be caring, and they were efficient. They had a gym, a salon, indoor mailboxes for each resident, and a covered patio too. "My grandmother was here for 5 years and my dad is currently here. The facility is clean. The staff is very friendly and the office staff is very knowledgeable. They keep in close contact with the family about their residents. "

"I like Chapman Manor. It is 25 miles away from my home, so distance is a challenge, but I think that they have what we need for my father. I like their shared rooms. They have two sinks, one to the right when you walk in and then you got one back to the left, so they share that. They have private rooms too. The only thing that they share are the bathrooms and I love that. The young lady who assisted me during the tour was very informative, very enthusiastic, and very energetic. She made it easy for me to enjoy the facility and made me feel comfortable that my dad was going to be moving there and being taken care of. I didn't deal with the staff as much. I saw the staff, and I walked past them. They appeared to be readily available. I was not able to taste their food, but I could tell that the food smelled good. The one thing that we look for first in a facility is cleanliness and it smelled clean. It smelled like old people because there were old people there, but it didn't smell like urine, like some of the places that I had visited. Had it smelled like urine, I would not have my dad go there. Everybody was doing something. It was busy, people watching TV, and people were doing arts and crafts. It was sort of inviting."

"Amilcat Care is a beautiful home. Rose is a professional and very loving and caring. My mother was there for a year before she passed and she was so happy. I highly recommend the facility over many others."

"I went to The Colonnade at Northdale. It was great. I liked it because it also offered a memory care unit. The staff member, Ben, was phenomenal. I just saw one room. They were eating, they seemed very healthy, and they did not seem depressed."

"We toured Best Care Senior Living at Saint Joseph for my sister-in-law. It was a nice facility. They took us through everything. The rooms and everything were nice. The staff was nice. It was a really clean place. It was a secure place. You didn't have to worry about the residents walking out of the facility because everything was well secured and locked, and they had cameras installed. It was a really beautiful place. They do a lot of craft projects. They do a lot of activities as far as getting the residents out and gathering them together."

"My mom is at Twin Creeks, and so far, it’s been a good environment. The staff is very caring, and she seems happy. They were nice, they seemed friendly, and ready to meet our needs during the tour. It’s one of the nicer places I’ve seen. This is the nicest one, and of course it's clean and there are no smells. They have ongoing activities every day, arts and crafts, and musicians come out and perform. This place was closer to me in terms of location."

"Angels Senior Living at The Reserves Of Idlewild was a newer facility. I like the room for my wife. They were repainting everything. I like the lady who took me on a tour there, and it looked like they had everything that we needed. They even set us up with a preferred rehab specialist there, so it was pretty amazing. They had a rehab center. They had three meals a day. They had different levels of care. They had a bus to take people around, a beauty shop, entertainment, and activities. It was a modern facility."
