"Savannah Court of Brandon was a clean and well-maintained place. The dining area was fine. The staff was very friendly and informative. "

"My friend is going to go to The Crossings at Riverview. We took her on a tour, and she said she felt comfortable there. It was very nice. My other neighbor and I were with her, and we decided we wanted to be there because it's so good. She likes the idea that you could go to the dining room because she doesn't cook at home. So that's one of the good things. She also likes that she could bring her dogs. She likes the idea that they would do her laundry and clean the place once a week. She will have a very cute apartment on the first floor which is quite close to where she could bring the dogs out to the back courtyard. Everything was very clean. They're fairly new, and I think they did a good job. They even let us go back and let us go into the apartment one more time. They were really good. They opened up the apartment and then we walked all around the building. It was very nice. In terms of activities, a couple of ladies were at the theater, and they were getting ready to watch a video. There's a sidewalk around the building and even in the back. My friend likes to take her dogs for long walks, so this is going to be good for her because she can walk around the building. Plus, they have a screened-in porch upstairs on the second floor and down below on the first floor. There are some benches outside, too. My friend can also see the river from her apartment. She got a nice view. "

"Lake Morton Senior Living was just too small of a place. It didn't fit our situation, but they had very nice apartments. The staff was very informative about things. It was a very nice facility. They have a lounge, an exercise area, a general area where everybody gets together, a cafeteria, and everything."

"The Manor at Lake Morton is a beautiful place, they are very attentive to all the people there. We just love it, it's a perfect place for my mother-in-law. We have tried the food, it's very good, and they do a very good job with the variety. I know that they play bingo, do some art activities like drawing, and I think they even do some type of painting. They have a courtyard where they take people out to and they play bingo out there and do other activities. They also have a shuttle bus that will take people to do some activities away from the facility. At times, they go about a block to the lake, and when the weather permits, they actually take groups down to the lake because they have swans and ducks they can feed down there. The building is only three years old and they've kept it really well."

"The independent and the assisted living at The Meridian at Brandon are all in the same building, but we went for the independent living. The facility itself is a brand new structure, so it's very appealing to the eyes. Everything about it was newer. They didn't have a model unit available to show. They have one unit that they showed us that's vacant. I think that a facility like that should ensure that there are model units available for a perspective person to be able to see, and they didn't have any. The staff during the tour didn't work there. He was like a regional person who tours and goes to different facilities. He started by saying, "If I don't have the information, I'll get it for you." He wasn't that well-versed on that particular location because he works for the company, and he goes all around. It had different rooms. It was very clean. It had a big library, an art room, and a theater room. It had all of the amenities, and everything was new. We only got to see one room, and it was a studio, and it was average."

"I looked at the independent living community of Osprey Manor in Lakeland. It's a very nice place, and the people were also nice, so I just got a good impression from it. The rooms were also nice and very clean, and they have a very good staff. They have a library, they take people to doctor appointments, and they take the residents shopping a couple of times a week."

"It was a beautiful place. I went there during lunchtime and watched the people walking in and handling things and how they were doing in the cafeteria. It's a very clean place and the people were nice. They were bringing the food to the residents and everybody was happy. That meant a lot. The rooms were beautiful and they had all kinds of activities for the residents."

"Our experience at Grace Manor Suites was very good. The rooms were a little small. Other than that, it was very nice. Their dining area was nice, and they had more up-to-date food that people are eating nowadays. The staff was very good and very informed. The activities were alright. There wasn’t much for the men to do. It seemed like it catered more to the women, and there weren’t that many men in there. The location is very convenient. "

Staff is quite dedicated to residents Lots of activities every day like exercise, bingo, games and crafts. Parties for residents every holiday. Grateful this location existed for my sister when no one else would take her. "

"This facility is really beautiful. The apartments are nice. The staff was very helpful during my tour. At that time, I was concerned on a lot of things such as approval from my mom's long term insurance care company. I was really struggling in making a decision for a while but Grand Court is one of the best facilities I visited and considered. "

"My mom was at Spring Haven. We chose it because it was in her price range and her location. It was an adequate facility. I thought the staff members were very competent. They did a good job. My mom's living space was very nice. It was a one-bedroom apartment. In terms of activities, they have a library, a game room, and a pool. There was plenty for her to do. I thought the food was pretty good considering it was institutional food."

"It is a very big community. They have several floors. It is the best one I've visited. It's very clean and very well structured. The staff was very nice and seemed to be concerned about our situation. However, in the end, they couldn't help us because of my brother's criminal record in the past. The dining area was set up like a hotel. The private room was nice and roomy, and it had a bathroom. The residents all seemed happy and engaged in whatever activity they were doing."
