We chose Carmen's Goodcare ALF for my aunt because she likes it. We spoke with the people out there, and it worked out for both of us. She likes it, so that's my main goal, that she's feeling comfortable. The staff is very nice, very caring, and that's what's important. I have eaten myself the meals, but she's happy, she's eating well and she has not complained. With the situation right now, they have activities but she prefers watching her TV or just doing her reading. There was a gathering for a birthday party for somebody and she participated. There were 6 ladies there, but it's not like there are daily activities there. They offered that somebody can go there and do their hair, but with COVID you've got to be careful. They're very clean, they clean every day, and my aunt said that every day they do this and that, and clean her room. They're very helpful and they've worked with us very well on the situation we have until we're able to get things better.
