Angel Care was wonderful, beautiful, very modern, and had all been redecorated. It was actually owned by an Indian doctor and his wife who is an RN. They were lovely people and they lived only two doors away, so it was very convenient for them to be there almost constantly. They didn't live there, but they had a caregiver. It was basically a new endeavor for them, but it was absolutely lovely. It was the perfect place. The kitchens and bathrooms were all updated with all handicap situations that were needed. It was all walk-in tubs. The staff was very nice and capable.

My father only lasted in Angel Care for about three weeks. I live in New Jersey so I wasn’t real sure what went on there I did have a Nursing Assistant come to visit him regularly and she said they never got him out of bed so I think he went down slowly due to inmobility. additionally, when my father passed, we requested a prorated refund for the full month we had paid in rent. The owner sent us a check for almost $5000 and it bounced twice. I have never been refunded for the time he was not there.
