My family loves this facility it’s amazing!!they give home cook meals so much love and care for the residents it’s the best facility I recommend they took great care of my aunt their family is so loving the rooms are very nice!How the staff interact with the residents words cannot explain the Love thank you blue haven staff for everything you’ve done for me and my family we love you !!!

This facility to terrible. My friend is there and she hates it. She says they do not put her on the toilet when she asks and she is made to wet herself. They do toilet her before bed and therefore she wakes up in the morning in a wet bed and not showered. She needs assistance to walk so she relies on them for help. If they are not capable of caring for her, they should be honest and let the family know so she can be placed somewhere that is better suited for her needs. I feel this home is very neglecting. Talking with other clients there they do not like it either and only stay because it is one of the cheaper places to stay and that’s all they can afford. Her room was dirty, she had no toilet paper in her bathroom. Her call button that is supposed to be around her neck was found in the bathroom, how the heck do you call for help if you don’t have access to your safety button. I would not put my worst enemy in this place

Blue Haven is the type of facility I would recommend to everyone. First of all, the grounds are beautiful. The staff is very courteous and attentive. The atmosphere is very cozy and homey. I have kept a relative there for several years, and I can say first hand that if you can get your family member placed there (it stays full!) you will never regret having done so. The place is immaculate and odor-free. The beds are super comfortable. And, the food is Great!!!! Drop by and see this gem of a facility for yourself.

I relocated my Mother to Blue Haven from another ALF in our area. The administrator and staff excepted her as she was and gave her loving, care until she passed away. I would take my husband along with me when I visited my Mother ( I am a caregiver-he has dementia) and the staff treated him with kindness as well. Blue Haven is Lake County's best kept secret!

I visited Blue Haven and it worked out well. I had my husband going over there for four hours in one day and eight hours another day. The people there were very friendly, caring, and nice. They explained everything to me. They try to help whatever way they can. They watch him and assisted him. They are very easy to get along with and I am very happy that I have been using them. The place is really clean. It did not have any kind of odor. The people were dressed nicely and they had uniforms on. For a full day, about 8 hours, the pay is $60. The people are very caring. It was only two times when we were there, but everything turned all fine.
