My mother seems very happy at WillowBrook at Marion and everybody there is very caring. I'm just very pleased with it. The living atmosphere is very pleasant, it's well-lit, the rooms are a good size, and everything there is really good. The staff is very helpful and they do anything they can to make things easier. They're just excellent. They provide three full meals every day, they get a big lunch, plus a snack in the evening. They have activities like bingo, chair exercises, and a musical group comes and visits them. She seems to stay pretty busy, plus they have a room that's designated for jigsaw puzzles. I would tell others to check it out. The environment is really friendly and everyone gets along well. I highly recommend it.

The tour with WillowBrook Assisted Living was very good. The man took us on a tour and I think he spent an hour and a half with us. He was very, very informational. He was the director. It's very nice, very clean. They have a thing where if the person isn't allowed to go outside, they wear some kind of a bracelet or something, and if they get within six feet of the doors, the doors lock. All the people there were walking around and talking, and everybody seemed happy. We thought it was a new place, he said it was 21 years old. They've kept it up real good.

WillowBrook Assisted Living was nice, but they felt it wasn't secure enough because my mom likes to wander. It was clean, it smells clean, and it looks more contemporary with the log cabin. It looks very nice and the staff there were very professional and friendly. It was a nice facility. It's very spacious. Their rooms look good, they're very nice and are fairly new. It looks like they've recently remodeled and were just doing the finishing touches. It's located downtown, not in the middle of town, and still kind of out of the way. It's farther from the hospital than the other community, but it's in a quiet area and it wasn't noisy. The staff who gave the tour was very knowledgeable. She answered all of our questions, she pretty much-covered everything before you even had to ask questions, and we only had a few. She went everywhere and showed us everything; she knew what she was doing. And she was very professional, very courteous, and very sympathetic.

My mother moved into Willowbrook over a year ago and is very relieved and comfortable in her new apartment. Her former home was in a very exclusive and large location but she has totally enjoyed her downsized apartment which is perfect just for her. She no longer has to deal with upkeep and repair of her lovely home and that is fine with her. A major perk of Willowbrook is that her peers have experienced much of the loneliness associated with aging and loss of spouses but living together allows for building camaraderie and support with those who understand the issues. Lonnie J is a wonderful personality and clearly does all she can to help the residents. My mother's peace of mind and safety means more to me than anything and living in Willowbrook has definitely given her those blessings.

We visited Willow Brook at Marion for my brother. It’s a very well-kept facility that offered different activities. Everything seemed to be very well organized. I saw their rooms, which were very nice and clean.

Have been very pleased with the care my mother has received. In the beginning the food was not that great but that is really starting to improve lately. Everything seems to be kept neat and clean.

WillowBrook Assisted Living was a very nice community. The staff seemed very nice. The residents seemed to be happy. It is an extremely clean, and pleasant facility. The apartments were nice, and of good size. You could get a furnished apartment or you could bring your own furnishings if you wish. They have crafts, musical entertainments, bingo, and card games. They have an outdoor area.
