"My friend is at Bedrock Rehabilitation & Nursing Center at Lake City. All the people that work there are very friendly and helpful to us when we have questions. His room is always clean and well-kept. He is doing PT and OT. We have no problems with them at all."

"I am staying in Madison Health & Rehabilitation. They've been good to me. They've been helpful and given me what I need. We're well pleased with it. They're friendly, and they try their best to accommodate you. They serve three meals a day plus snacks. Their food has been surprisingly good. It has good portions, good quality, and a good mix of things. The building is clean, and they are constantly cleaning. The maintenance people come through and do their upkeep, cleaning filters on the AC and checking water. They have a lot of different activities. I don't participate in most of those. It's a combination of rehab plus a lot of permanent residences, like a nursing home type setup, so a lot of the entertainers and the activities are geared more towards them."

"My father was in Solaris HealthCare Lake City for rehab. It was an excellent place. They have absolutely no positive case for covid, they did a lockdown before any other nursing home and hospital, and that allowed them to have a clean bill for covid. It was tough because I can't see my dad, but they would do other things like, he would go in front of the window, or they would take him in front of the glass door. They're very accommodating, and it's immaculately clean. The nurses are great, the rehab people, the physical therapist, occupational therapist, even housekeeping, and social services worker. The business part helped me in getting Medicaid approved for my dad. It's one of the best nursing homes I have ever in contact with. It was a great place for my dad to be. My dad shared a room with another person. They tried to match up people, and so they tried to place another veteran with my dad as a roommate. They've got bingo, ice cream socials, exercise classes whether it be yoga, stretching, or chair aerobics, but they dial it down with the covid."

"Last year I went to visit an older relative of mine in this facility. For a facility that accepts Medicaid, it was pretty nice. The activity director was very nice and you could tell that she really cared about her residents. It is an older facility though and it has window units through out instead of central AC, but the temperature was still kept to a nice temperature in all parts that I visited. It is not a very large home, so it is pretty easy for the residents to find their way around without getting lost too much. They have "shower teams" to bathe the residents that are not able to self bathe which was nice, because the other CNAs were not over worked trying to do basic care along with the bathing. They had a really nice dining area where the residents could pick from a menu so that they still felt like they had some control and it felt more like a restaurant than a nursing home. "

"Rehab is exceptional. Staff is very helpful. The Rehab Manager went out of her way to make sure my family stayed up to date on our family member’s care and progress. Therapy team is amazing."
