We went to visit Leland Palms assisted living facility since we were already in the region, looking at places for my friend's mother to live. The outer grounds were lovely, with well-kept lawns and trees. The interior foyer resembled a quaint bed and breakfast. The private housing options included nicely decorated rooms which were all personalized. The facility was designed to be secure with safety rails and security alert systems. The restaurant style dining area offers many delicious choices. The lunch we had was like you might find in an upscale diner. They also had a private dining room for friends and family. The exercise area has a really pretty outdoor walking path. The media center area was equipped with an extra wide screen TV and all of the community rooms had a nice decor. The staff takes residents on weekly outings for shopping and entertainment - and they also take short day trips in the area on a regular basis. This is a full service assisted living facility that offers residents flexibility and comfort. The staff is kind, caring respectful and professional.
