The memory care rooms are very tiny and from our experience not kept clean. My mother had dementia and with many visits we cleaned the bathroom and her! There are many ants and roaches! My mother had no a/c (in Florida) the 10 months she was in the memory unit, even though we complained often. Activities are minimal with little mental stimulation. My mother did like like the food and it never looked appetizing to me. At least half of her clothing and some personal items went missing in the first 6 months, the staff turnover is very high. We witnessed staff belittling people in the memory unit to the point of fright and tears. More than a few times I found staff sleeping at the tables or on the couch. Getting anyone there to call you back is impossible. I would like to give this place no stars. I would never leave my loved ones in this facility.

My friend is at Summerfield Senior Living. She tells me the food is not good, but they have a nice area where they help you rehabilitate. The problem with them is that their room is just a studio and it's too small. The staff seems to be nice and pleasant. The building was very clean, and the structure looked very good. The dining area seems to be pleasant, clean, and welcoming.
