We went to Abundant Blessings and Care. It was very clean, very bright, it was a house (which was nice), and it wasn't like a nursing home type assisted living place. The staff was very nice, the patients were very nice, and they didn't just sit in their rooms. It was also cheaper. They let them help around the house, they have arts and crafts, they provide meals, and they get my dad to doctors' appointments if my brother and I can't.
