My dad was at the Whittier Hills Healthcare Center after hospital care. I'd have to say I don't like it. It just seems like it was pretty busy as far as patients going back and forth to different facilities or via the cafeteria or therapy or bathing. I just looked in and just a similar chaos. Communication between staff didn't seem done well. They had a big chart of things that were activities, but I don't know how well that was communicated to the patients. So, if they were in their room, they might have. I didn't hear any announcements or anything.

The facility is amazing. I had my grandpa and my grandma here, and the care was excellent. The staff was very attentive towards my grandparents, as well as focused on making sure my family and I felt that we were comfortable too. Additionally, the therapy team did a fantastic job of rehabilitating my grandpa post surgery. On a side note, My grandma attended the activities regularly so it must have been fun for her. Judging by the calendar of events, they have a lot of things for your loved ones to do. I would highly recommend this facility.

I liked Whittier Hills Healthcare Center. It was very clean and close to us. I could walk there. I only saw one of the senior managers, and she was very nice. If I have to put Mama somewhere, I would try there first. Everything was nice and clean. The whole place from one end to the other looked good. There was no poor area. I thought it looked clean, and I'd give it a try.
