Our experience has been good. The people are nice. The atmosphere is nice. The staff members seem to have a good attitude and they're good with coming to get my dad. He needs help getting in to lunch, breakfast, and dinner because he's blind. They seem very courteous. There's a variety of food and it seems good.

I toured The Oaks at Inglewood for my father-in-law. It was a really nice facility. It was very clean, including all the rooms and all the cafeterias. All the workers there were really nice. I really liked the place and the location. The staff provided all the information that I needed regarding the financial aspect of living there and what they could do. The dining area was really nice, clean, and spacious. I really liked the rooms. I got to see the studio apartment, which was the only one available for now. They were really nice and clean. It was raining that day I went, but I took a peek through the window and saw the garden. It was really beautiful.

I went to The Oaks at Inglewood. They're much more affordable than the other one we visited, but I would prefer to have a little more of a kitchen with a sink. I know they furnish you your food pretty much, but there are going to be times when I want to spend my time in my room, and I might like to fix me something raw. They hardly provide you with any kind of space to fix yourself anything. They had an excellent exercise room, and the thing I liked about it was it had a room with a patio. I was looking for that because I would like to have a few plants of my own. They gave us a meal to go, but I wasn't too enthused about it. I wasn't as impressed with it as I was with the meal that we had at the other place. I didn't really meet too many of the residents other than to nod and say hello. They were friendly enough. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. The facility was in good shape, and in fact, the room that they showed us was being renovated at the time. They're painting it and putting in new floors. It was nice, clean, and airy, but they don't allow you much of anything as far as any kind of counterspace, and no kitchen sink.

It is the best location for me. The place is really nice, it’s very clean, and there were a lot of activities for the residents. It's a little on the smaller side, so this would be a good choice for someone who wanted a smaller and more intimate community. If someone's capable of walking, they can just walk to Lincoln Center or go shopping. The dining area is very nice, huge, and clean.

They were in the process of painting when I was there but it was still very clean. The staff was very good and answered my questions. The residents were very friendly. I think they have movies, cards, library, and lots of games. They have a van that takes you places too, I was impressed.

The staff seemed courteous and friendly. They were really good about showing us the place and everything. The only room that we saw was a studio. It was a pretty good size. They had a lot of activities. They did keep the residents pretty active. We saw the menu and it seemed pretty good. They had three choices and you could eat anytime. What I like best about this facility is that it is close to where I live.

I was very impressed with it. I really liked all the friendliness. It was the only place that I saw where the residents appeared to be happy and outgoing. The food was very good. I like the fact that my friend can have her meal whenever she wants. Whenever she gets hungry, she can go and get something. I think she's happy where she is. She isn't on a strict schedule. I really like that, plus they have transportation to go different places. I was gone for a while and I just visited her, and the place has been sold. It's not quite as nice as it was. I like her room. It looks out over a parking lot, so that part is not great. In the city, it's hard for everybody to have great views, but her room is very nice.
