The room that she is going to live in is completely remodeled with new carpets, so it’s going to be really nice for her. It’s very homey and clean, and the people were very friendly when I walked in. The staff seems to be well-informed. "

"Our experience having my parents in Paramount Court Senior Living has been very good. They serve three full meals a day. They also have their own apartment together with a bedroom, a mini kitchen, a front living room area, and a bookshelf area off to the side. There are two different dining halls during dinnertime so that the residents can practice social distancing. Usually they have a lot of activities going on each month, but because of COVID they aren't able to do anything right now. My dad is in independent living and mom is in assisted living. The staff is very good with my parents; they're excellent. They serve fish a lot of the times, but not everybody likes fish. The facilities are very clean. Usually someone comes in to play the piano when COVID isn't going on. They previously saw an Elvis impersonator. They also go on field trips. They don't get out of the bus, but they still get to be out and about."

"It was very nice, and it was religious based. The only bad thing about Turlock was the weather. They can get extremely hot in the summertime. If that community were located in a different geographic area where the weather was moderate, I would probably give it a 5. "

"What I like about Turlock Residential is the employees. They are very, very nice. I can get them to be here when I take a shower and they make our bed and get things for us. They're just really good here. The facility is older, but it's real clean. Some of the meals here are good, some aren't, like any other place (I wish for healthier food). I think the value of the money is good for me."

"I like Camlu Assisted Living. It was nice. The apartments were decent. The staff member who accommodated me was nice and very helpful. Everybody looked happy. They recently had root beer float night, poker night, and they play bingo. It looked fun."

"Lincoln Manor Care Home is very clean. The staff seems very knowledgeable. Knowing that the owner was a nurse really helped with my decision. It is a home, so it is more of a family environment, and that's something that I was looking for for my dad. Meals are included. They do a little bit of exercise, they get out and do things, but for the most part, they don't have a lot of activities."

"I was referred to Crossroads Manor. They had a nice neighborhood. The visit was nice, but they just didn’t have any vacancies. The rooms were quite plain with white walls, but they were clean. They were homey and spacious. The staff was friendly and nice. They had a long waiting list, and it was hard to get in. "

"I went to Lidia's Blessed Home. It's a beautiful home, but it's way too expensive. Only the owner assisted me, and she wanted too much money. It was clean, updated, and it was a home, which was what I was looking for. It was not institutional."
