Overview of AboutLife Care Facility
Average age is 80. Favorite thing to do is play games, dance, eat the very tasty food we cook and comfort treats.
All our staff goes through a rigorous training and online classes
Three on duty during the day and two over night. One awake staff on duty overnight.
Adequate exercise. Daily walks for mobility. We organize daily games involving all residents for social activities.
We play board games like bingo, puzzles and other memory engaging games.
The Sierra Medow park is across the street from the facility. Excellent place for walks, family time. Lots of coffee shops ( High Hand, Pottery World) for them to enjoy with loved ones when visiting.
Administrator and caregivers right down any behavior change that is noticed and communicate it to the primary doctor and their families.
We only cook from scratch. Coming from Europe, our food Is based on a Mediterranean-style diet.
We keep family updated with any changes that happen in their resident health. Inform them after doctor visits of any new medication prescribed, or changes. If family can't visit, we organize video calls.
During the day, there are two caregivers plus the administrator. At night, we have two caregivers. One is awake per requirement.
