My mother is at Shearwater Residence. So far, so good. We chose it because of close proximity to us. They have activities. It's a smaller environment and a little more homey. She has to have assistance, but she has memory issues as well. The staff seem to be attentive and they're doing all the things that they said they would do. They have nice, comfortable places for people to be. They have nice outdoors. They have a nice arrangement where they serve the food. They have a deck and a lawn. It's a small facility, and the most people they can have is 16. The dining area is like family style dining. The place always seems clean, tidy, and safe.

My mother is here and I have no complaints whatsoever. It's a very nice place, and the staff is wonderful, friendly, accommodating, helpful, proactive, and competent. I've watched them prepare the food. It's served hot, has variety, is nutritious, and I don't hear anybody complain about it.
